Thumbs up
Installed on 02 es300 work car with 340k miles a while back. So far so good. Before I changed them, the car wouldnt run right. It had no power and wouldnt go into O/D. I cleared the code when I replaced them and problems solved.

Worked... Until it didnt
It solved the problem for about a month and then bam, code showed again and guess what one of the codes was, go ahead and guess... Correct, knock knock, who's there... (Insert angry face here)... I had the codes read and top of the list, knock sensor. I did some digging and found the harness connector could be the issue. I went and disconnected and made sure it was tight. To no avail... I quit! Makes me wonder if it's legit Dirman parts.

Worked perfectly
Took away the knock sensors codes. Could've been just the wiring hardness but with the amount of work simply you access them, Just do both.

Worth it
Absolutely worth it it's a hassle to install but once you install it it's just as good as the name brand part itself.

Very good alternative to dealer
Had to purchase these and relocate it to the outside. Initially I purchased denso ones off of ebay and they were junk. I just left the denso in the engine. Unfortuantely I didn't know they were bad until I finished and the code came back right away. These ones did the trick. I have no idea how long they will last but they fixed the vehicle es300 2003. Rat had chewed the wires. I spent so long trying to fix it either cutting the wire and making it into one to only make things worse. The only thing that fixed it was relocating it out of the engine and attaching it to the fuel rail metal part. Only do this when you are sure its the wire or the actual sensor. If you have issue with the engine itself you will have to fix. Hope this helps.

Cheap knock offs
Don't follow torque specs on these. I broke one off in the cylinder head. Fortunately I was able to extract it. Good price though. One sensor at the parts store was 83 bucks! Update, these are cheap knock offs. just buy Denso Toyota brand ones and be done with it. The cost of time and parts to tear the top end off a second time is more expensive!

Harness fitment issues
I generally don’t give reviews but due to the amount of work to do this procedure I should share my experience. While the sensors appear to be of good quality, the harness connector that goes to the factory harness does not fit securely. The issue is as shown in pictures, the OEM plug has thinner side walls than this Dorman one. It will only go in until hitting the rubber seal. I ended up using the OEM plug on the new harness so it would actually click lock in place. This requires pulling the connection blades from the plugs to swap them. One other thing to note is that the new harness has a slightly higher impedance than the OEM harness(.00 vs.01). Probably doesn’t make a difference but worth mentioning. OEM has gold plated leads and heavier gauge wire
