Oster BLSTPB-WGN My Blend 250-Watt Blender, Green

In long lifetime of eating oranges I've wasted (not eaten) at least a cubic yard of the orange fiber. But recently I spoke to my food guru (my adult daughter) about improving my diet, and I mentioned for years I've been having a morning orange-banana smoothie. When she heard I would first juice the orange she dismissed me as not serious about improving my healthy eating. So I went to look for an alterantive to my heavy blender (a Chinese knock-off of the leading expensive brand) that would be small enough just for me and pulverize the fiber. The one being reviewed here is just about perfect. As a sidenote, I spent at least an hour studying videos to learn how to peel an orange. For sure, the people who post these are either super skilled or they are faking. Finally I found a method that I can use -- a large tablespoon is run around the rim of the skin to remove all the pulp.

This blender Works awesome and it's just a fraction of the price of other comparable blenders. I use it to make my teenagers some protein smoothies. It's super easy to use that my kids are able to use it on their own. I love how there's not a thousand buttons on this you just simply place the canister twist and that's it, it blends! Sometimes I make banana shakes with crushed ice and it has no problem crushing huge ice cubes.

This little machine is so great!!!! I have paid more $ for all the bells and whistles. I'm on a special diet and need to make smoothies 3 times a day. I had a blender that would leave chunks of ice. ....I hate that. I was skeptical at first because of the price but wow. I bought 2 because I'm putting one in my camper. Love this little convenient machine.

I just used this product for the first time this morning. I have been making a protein shake each morning for the last couple weeks. It has peanut butter and frozen fruit in it to help make it thicker. There are times with my full size blender that I have to stir the ingredients to get it to mix up well. With this blender I did not have to do any stirring and my shake is blended better than what my full size blender was doing. I need to buy an extra bottle or two to make it even better.

Does as advertised. Easy to clean, easy to use and simple. I recently got into making shakes, and the first one I made had 1 scoop of whey, 8oz almond coconut milk, 5 ice cubes, and 1 banana. The ingredients filled the container up a little past the 20oz line on the bottle, but it still efficiently made everything into a smooth shake. (The manual says do not fill past the 20oz line and I recommend following the manual. I'll only use half a banana in the future to avoid over stuffing my blender. It still worked, though.)
