This one doesn't have the terry on the inside so I just wipe it out with either a face cleaning cloth or rinse the inside with warm water and soap. It is very cute, this is my travel shower cap (smaller to pack), but I have the other Betty Dain cap with the terry cloth inside for my every day use. Hope this helps!

I have long thick hair. If I were to wear this cap to sleep with my hair clipped up, would it fall off? Is very it tight?

I don't think it would fall off. It has a lot of room and the elastic band is snug so as not to slip bit I wouldn't consider it tight.

I would like to know if the elastic of the shower cap is tight enough because I have a very small head . What about the resistance of the elastic ?

I have a very small head as well. The elastic was very tight and uncomfortable. Couldn't wear it. Too uncomfortable. The description said it was oversized, but if the elastic hurts, what's the point of the rest of the cap? Asked for and received a refund.
