I finally had time to set up my birdbath/water fountain this morning and this was so easy to install. I read alot of reviews about complaints how the solar fountain floats around and sprays much of the water out ofthe fountain (same thing happened to me too) so I emptied the water out of the fountain and dried everything and then I used "zots" clear adhesive dots (permanent) -you can buy these at any craft store and online as well- and I stuck those to the bottom of the panel (3 where the suction cups are and 2 underneath the battery compartment) and so far it is staying under water and not floating around. It says permanent but they will come off......just permanent on paper. Today is day ONE so I will continue to update if any disappointments or problems. SO FAR SO GOOD THOUGH!!! The pump started immediately as soon as I placed it in my birdbath (filled with water) and it sprays a beautiful tall spray up in the air!!! I can't WAIT to see this at night with all of the colors!!! I had to try a few of the fountain tips that it came with before I found the perfect one!!! (the first water spout I tried just shot one stream of water up in the air) but another one I tried shoots a beautiful SPRAY up in the air!!! SOOO PRETTY!!!! I will keep you updated on my solar fountain!!! :-) UPDATE: (Friday. 10/22/21) Not so happy! The only time this solar fountain sprays water is only when the bright sun shines directly on it. So far it has not lit up at all which was one of the main reasons I purchased this......as soon as the sun goes down it stops working altogether. I will try to set it in the sun a few days and see if maybe then it will light up at night. I have mine set on auto mode... maybe night mode works best? I will keep you updated!

Cute little fountain, I've had it for about a month, it stopped lighting up at night after a week. I think it is not getting enough sun. I have it in my pond so I took it apart and cleaned it, hopefully I will see it light up tonight, going to charge it in the sun today. Just so you know, it is a bit small, my pond is a bit large though.

I am highly impressed with this floating fountain!! You will notice in my pics that I do not have the attachments on it. Because my birdbath is homemade, it is not the regular size of a normal bird bath. This floating fountain is perfect for my bird bath without any attachments. However, the height and spray of each of the attachments has me searching for my next project so I can enjoy all the fountain features❣️ This would be great in a pool, pond, or any other vessel that is at least 18-28 inches wide. A crystal fruit bowl is probably the smallest you can go without an attachment. I do have to occasionally refill the water throughout the day due to the small splashes but that is easy to do. I just fill up a gallon jug of water and fill it up when it’s getting low. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a cord free fountain! It is the best addition to your diy projects or something you have purchased❣️ You can literally turn ANYTHING into a fountain with this floating fountain! It floats nicely! The side arms keep it stabilized in the middle of my bird bath. It also has suction cups on the bottom if you want to suction it to the bottom of your bird bath. As you can see, the lights are very bright! I waited until I had some cloudy weather to see what it was like before I wrote my review. Today was that day. It was over cast and cloudy from noon on. It only had 6 hours of bright sunlight. This afternoon, it was barely working due to the low sunlight and I wondered if it would work tonight? I am highly impressed that I am sitting on my porch writing this review and it is working perfectly!

For the first night, this little fountain worked like a charm. However, after the first day, if I had the fountain working during the day, it would not work at night, even on the automatic setting to have it work for both day and night. This is after charging in a full day of sunlight. Its lovely in the day and its lovely at night, but it does not work as advertised. If you want a fountain that works both day and night, this is not your answer. I would not purchase this one again. Edit: Originally, I gave this item a 3-star review because it does work, just not as advertised. It works either in the day or night, but not both, even after a full day of sunlight. However, I'm taking a star off because the seller keeps e-mailing me asking me to remove my review. Second edit: After my last edit, the company stopped their harassing e-mails. However, fast forward to two months after my purchase and my fountain looks like it has been bleached by the sun and has completely stopped working. TWO MONTHS. I would NOT recommend this fountain at all.

This water fountain w/lighting was an absolute joy and at a reasonable price; for the very short time it worked. Basically no set up and an impressive choice of fountain tips that you can choose from come with the kit. We preferred the Auto setting where the fountain ran during the daylight hours and would then continue into the night w/ the added feature of the changing colored lights automatically turning on at dusk. About a month and a half after we started using it; the lights began working intermittently. Some nights they would come on; others they wouldn't. The birdbath that it floats in is in complete sunlight ALL day long. A short time later, the coating that is on top of the solar panels began to turn opaque. Now, 3 months after we purchased and began using it - the top covering is completely white and it has stopped working :( We know it 's not an expensive, high quality unit but with all reasonable thinking - it's life expectancy is certainly anticipated to be longer than 3 months. I would buy again if it lasted at least a couple of seasons but I'll research other brands. Again - initially it was an enjoyable product but after appx 3 mpnths, unfortunately, completely stopped working.

I bought this last summer at the same time as a bird bath which turned out to be a bit too small for this fountain, but I left them together all the same. It made a pretty little decoration while there was some water in the basin, and naturally did nothing when the basin was dry. I did nothing to take care of it, and left it out all winter. When I finally pulled the trigger and bought a much larger bird bath from my local garden center this year, I moved the fountain into it, and after a few days of rain was alarmed and delighted to find that it still powers up with the sun and runs like a champ. And the optional arms for keeping it more centered in the birdbath are a nice touch. It's nothing fancy, but is a thoroughly delightful and inexpensive little garden accessory. I'd completely forgotten that it lit up. The little video is the fountain chugging along after a year of suboptimal contitions and outright neglect. 10 out of 10. Would repurchase.

Bought this for my backyard fountain project, was very excited that it had not only solar lights in addition to the fountain, but the foldable arms to keep it centered. Other fountain heads I saw with arms noted that they fell off easily. This seemed the better option. For the first three weeks it seemed to work great. The fountain spray was a little underwhelming, but that was the only thing at the time. Three weeks later, the pump completely stopped working. There were no blockages, everything was clean. The lights still turned on at night, but no water came out at all. Took it out of the fountain, set it out in the direct sun for an entire day, thinking maybe it just wasn't charging enough to run the pump where it was in the water. Still nothing. I could see having to replace it after a year or so perhaps, but certainly not three weeks. Very disappointing.

I bought this solar fountain because I would like to get a great decoration for my lawn. The pumps works as expected. it has multiple mini solar panels arrange all around the base and it comes with a 3000mAh backup battery, which is so cool cause it also works at night, during night the LED lights turn on around the nozzle spray. There are 6 different sprays available. I like this solar bird bath design and it is also simple to put together. The solar cells charge well and towards dual it pump few times every few seconds to keep water moving , when dark comes the lights turn on and pump goes full power lasts for a very long time when fully charged six hours and lights were fading and pump streams were getting lower , but it does work and lasts now time will tell what sun will do to it. I have this in my birdbath in my backyard and love how it lights up at night time. The lights is changing between with different colors, the fountain spraying at the same time. It looks so gorgeous. I obviously would recommend it because I like it so muuuuuuuch!!
