Ich war ja durchaus skeptisch, ob das klappt: Aber zumindest eine Geforce RTX 3060 kann ihre Leistungsfähigkeit in diesem Setup voll und ganz ausspielen. Wie das mit leistungstärkeren Grafikkarten aussieht, müssen andere testen. Aber wenn einem die Leistung der 3060 genügt, ist dieses eGPU-Gehäuse der wirklich absolut beste Kompromiss um auf einem Notebook vollwertig zocken zu können. Meiner persönlichen Meinung nach wesentlich besser als mit eingebauten hochwertigen GPUs, die alle entweder massive Lüftungsprobleme oder extremes Notebook-Gewicht für die Kühlung bedeuten. Einziger Hinweis: Unbedingt die Variante mit USB-Breakout kaufen: Dann kann man auch Tastatur und Mouse anschließen und die eGPU als vollwertigen Docking-Station-Ersatz nutzen.

Reçu rapidement, facile à installer, rien eu de spécial à faire avec Windows 11, reconnu de suite. Je l'utilise avec une MSI Geforce RTX 4070 Ti VENTUS 3X E 12G OC, elle rentre pile poil, fonctionne parfaitement, un Y est fourni avec la carte pour l'alimentation. C'est le seul constructeur à fournir une liste de compatibilité à jour sur son site. Je l'ai relié à un Onexplayer 2 pro, c'est parfait, exactement ce que je voulais. totalement plug and play. (rien à voir avec la ROG Ally et le XG mobile, qui demande sans cesse de rebooter, qu'il faut déconnecter avant de l'arrêter pour pouvoir l'utiliser en mode nomade)

Connected to the laptops thunderbolt 4 port. I have 3 1440P screens running forza 8 with the 4050 I had to have it run it at 4320x1080 and really reduced graphics to get 30-40 fps. I put in a GeForce RTX 4070 and now can run the game 7680x1440 with high grahics setting depending on the track get usually 50-70 fps. Benchmark result is 41. From reading and watching reviews about egpus. I was worried it would not be any better then the internal 4050 but I am happy that it is almost twice as fast now and it can handle the 1440P screens. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the expensive price tag.

for starters make sure the graphics card you have is compatible with this. There’s a list on the official sonnet website. Anyway, it was easy to set up with the MSI laptop I have. Currently using a GeForce 3060 12 GB with it. And DANG IS IT NICE. prior I had been using an AMD RYZEN 550X 4GB. Oddly enough, the amd 4gb didn’t care whenever I turned the egpu off but the nvidia 12gb gets pissy and demands I type the bitlocker code. No idea what that’s about but I don’t care. It works and it works well.

Did exactly what I needed it to do, no issues. Dropped a new Nvidia GPU in, connected to my computer via USB-C 3 (4 is recommended), and away I go. It's a little bulky (comparable to a small desktop computer box). Biggest issue is where to put it while keeping the USB short.
