They keep our floors from being scratched. Perfect!
These pads work! We have limestone flooring, which is a fairly soft stone, and we have tried a series of different types of protective pads for our furniture, especially kitchen and dining room chairs. The original pads the manufacturer had on the kitchen chairs were secured with several small nails. As these wore out, we replaced them with a series of adhesive backed felt pads, which inevitably came loose. We ordered a couple sizes of these nail-on pads and they work perfect. The "nail" that is used to secure them to the chair is a cylinder that is easily hammered on to the chair leg. This type of fastener provides solid support for the pad assembly as well as giving a permanent grip onto the chair and other furniture. And, it was easy to hammer them on. Two reasonable strikes with the hammer, and their done. It took longer to use needlenose plyers to remove the nails that were left over from the original worn out pads. If we ever need more, we're buying these. But they seem so durable it may be a few years before we buy another set.

These pads are awesome for wood chairs.
Good product, easy to install. This is second time we've purchased for our Amish Oak Dining room chairs. Seems like work great for about 5 years, then they are ready for a replace if you want chairs to slide well on wood floor. Have not had any come loose like adhesive style. Also seem to hold up better than adhesive style pads because they have the plastic ring to support the pad. Steve

Good quality and less expensive than others
I use felt pads on several chairs and stools that sit directly on a hardwood floor. Over the years I've tried several different kinds. I've come to the conclusion that real felt pads have to be installed with a hammer. Anything that claims to bond or glue itself to the bottom of a chair leg that slides on a hardwood floor just will not last. This type of felt pad has a small, circular section of tubing that gets nailed into the bottom of the chair leg. I've found that it takes quite a bit of force compared to the felt pads that have a thin nail or brad holding them in, but these tend to hold better. Once they're in place they're REALLY in place, and nothing short of prying them up and out of the chair leg with a prybar will remove them very easily. It's no picnic hammering them into something like hard maple or walnut, but the results are worth it. These are less expensive than some of the others I've bought in the past ($8 for 48 count vs. $5 for 8 count) but the quality appears to be just as good. I have enough here to do all of my chairs with a few left over.

Easy to install, so far so good
I was a bit skeptical about these as most of them have nails, while this one had a circular "nail". But after installing them, it seems like a good product. Only had them installed for a few days so I can't give it a 5 star rating yet. I would definitely measure the bottom width of the legs to see which size it is. These fit perfectly for my chairs and cant even tell they are installed. Install was pretty straightforward: 1. Line up the padding on the chair leg 2. lightly hammer it so it "sticks", then hammer a bit harder to have the padding all the way in 3. done! No more annoying friction sounds while moving chairs and my wood floors will not be damaged by them. I will bump to 5 stars if I don't run into issues a month from now.

These really work!
These “nail-on heavy duty” pads really work! We tried the felt adhesives with various pre-cut sizes, and as well as the ones we had to “cut to fit”. We didn’t like them. They either didn’t adhere, or within a few days, the dirt/dust caused them not to stick. It was hard to cut clean edges too. We were frustrated and were using bath towels and facecloths to protect our new floors. We then tried the these. We started with a multi pack with various sizes. We like them. We quickly ordered the sizes we needed, and are thoroughly happy. Note: We did have to carefully remove the old plastic or metal caps that were on some pieces of furniture but that was okay. I will share that you can see/notice that the furniture legs are slightly raised on some pieces, but it’s not an issue. My new wood floors are protected. No scratches, no worries as I move chairs, tables, foot stools around. We used the larger 7/8” sizes under bigger pieces like our secretary, dining/kitchen tables, china cabinet and such. The smallest ones were great for small lamp tables with thin legs. I’m happy!

Works well, definitely recommend!
I've tried many of the options for protecting hardwood floors from furniture damage. Stickers work fine initially but they eventually fall off. A lot of newer furniture have hard plastic stubs on the feet but I just don't trust them. Repairing damage to hardwood floors is so painful, expensive, and often doesn't look as good as the original. These pads are inexpensive insurance. I've used the Waxman feet on couches, living room chairs, and dinning room chairs. They have worked well in every case and they are holding up well. Every time we get new furniture, I install the Waxman pads. I like the felt because it's durable and provides plenty of protection. I like the Waxman feet because of how they attach to the furniture. It's relatively easy to pry off the existing stub, which is usually attached with a single nail (think push-pin). The Waxman feet have a circular, metal attachment (like a straw) that has a chiseled end so that it can be driven into the furniture leg with a hammer. It's very secure and doesn't damage the hole from the original stub in case you ever want to re-install them.

Material resistente y de buena calidad. Fácil de colocar. Recomiendo usar un martillo de goma para ello.

These are wonderful! Such a relief not to have sticky glue all over my floors. You do need a little elbow grease to hammer these in. I have had my first batch in situ for about 5 mths now, they still work perfectly. I'm only sorry I didn't order them sooner!

I wish I knew about these earlier. They are amazing. The felt ones would always leave glue all over our floors and it drove me crazy. These are genius and totally worth the price for high traffic movement. Recommend for sure!
