Brilliant product I have had a few for many years and operate irrigation in Spain from anywhere in the world as long as you have wifi batteries last two years

The unit and hardware is very well designed in terms of quality and sealing. I have two of these units connected for almost a year - no leaks and no failures at all. The controls and even the little screws that secure the battery compartment are bright stainless steel with no corrosion. The software and application on my phone is so easy to set up, intuitive and with an exceptionally wide range of choices for watering times, volumes and costing data. It also has various checking devices to warn if a hose has come loose or the water supply has failed and I consider the whole product design and support similar in to buying a top level Apple product and a joy to use. I can operate the system remotely when on holiday several thousand miles away - a wonderful product and worth every litre!

So much better than the previous version.The Power switch is more effective, and the manual on/off watering option is very useful.I must remember to over-winter the devices indoors as the water valve and mechanism seem over-sensitive to frost/freezing. This is covered in the information, but it is well worth following this particular warning.

This is the third one I have purchased to water another zone in my garden. I purchased the first one around 2 years ago and it still looks like new and is on the same set of batteries, even though I have left it out all year round.It takes about 30 seconds to install into an existing irrigation system and about 5 to 15 minutes to setup the schedules, depending on what you want.The rain skip feature is great and save watering an already soaked garden.Support is fantastic with extremely quick responses considering the time zone difference.Also easy to integrate into other home automation systems for even more control.The G2 version with the integrated flow meter provides useful information about the amount of water used as well as warnings for excessive flow that would happen if the hose falls off or splits. Plus it reminds me to turn the water back on at the beginning of the season when it detects that no water is flowing.And now the S version has the manual switch on the body so it is really easy to turn on the water when standing next to it. Before if I wanted to water some new plants I had to get the phone out to activate the instant mode.It might not be the cheapest option but you get the quality and features of far more expensive systems so it is excellent value for money.

These guys really are great with customer service and the product is brilliant. I have been using them for 5 or so years, the products keep getting better as does the app - all the features you could possible want and easy to navigate. Highly recommended.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I had an issue with a faulty device after two years of using it, and after emailing LinkTap, they promptly replaced it with no hassle. The level of service I received was impressive. The devices themselves are fantastic for managing my micro-irrigation system around the garden – easy to use, reliable, and efficient. I’m very grateful for their swift response and support. I would highly recommend LinkTab, not just for the quality of their products but also for their outstanding customer service.

Very good quality product which connects efficiently to an existing Gateway. Very comprehensive controls and great software. Not cheap but it does the job.

I am shocked how I received an already opened box foe a new product which has some carton box contents missing in addition to a missing manual

This is so well designed even my landscape designers were impressed. Second model I’ve purchased - now they’re linked and functioning beautifully. I travel and love the function telling me about what is happening at home. Battery life is great too. I have had problems in the past with competitors models running out of battery. This even alerts me to change batteries. It is easy to set up and fun to adjust. I believe it’s Australian made which thrills me even more. Will continue to recommend.

Ich benötige das System für die Bewässerung eines Gartens in einem Ferienhaus. Zuverlässige Funktion und sichere Internet-Anbindung mit möglichst umfassender Überwachungsmöglichkeit waren daher wichtige Kaufkriterien.Nach den ersten Wochen in Betrieb bin ich begeistert:Inbetriebnahme:Geht sehr einfach über's Smartphone und ist innerhalb von wenigen Minuten erledigt.Bedienoberfläche:Es gibt zum einen alle denkbaren Bewässerungsprogramme, diese sind auch einfach über die App zu programmieren und zu aktivieren bzw. deaktivieren.Darüber hinaus eröffnet die Durchflussmessung ganz neue Horizonte: Während des Bewässerns wird in der App die aktuelle Durchflussmenge angezeigt, so dass man auch aus der Ferne einschätzen kann, ob die Bewässerung korrekt funktioniert. Eine Statistik zeigt zudem die Historie der je Bewässerung und insgesamt verbrauchten Wassermenge.Ebenfalls nützlich sind die Alarm-Push-Meldungen, u.a. wenn aufgrund eines Leitungsdefektes zu wenig oder zu viel Wasser fließt. Die jeweiligen Alarmschwellen sind einstellbar.Angesichts der Funktionsvielfalt ist die Bedienoberfläche durchaus nutzerfreundlich gestaltet und punktet auch mit sinnvollen und gut verständlichen Anzeige- und Hilfstexten.WLAN bzw. Gateway:Das Gerät nutzt kein vorhandenes WLAN, sondern benötigt sein eigenes Gateway, das per Netzwerkkabel direkt an den Router angeschlossen wird. Das ist auch gut so, denn die Verbindung über das Funknetz des Gateway ist deutlich besser als das übliche WLAN. Konkret: Die Entfernung zwischen Router mit Gateway und Einsatzort beträgt in meinem Fall insgesamt ca. 20m. Das Signal geht durch 3 Wände hindurch und dann quer durch den Garten. An dieser Stelle habe ich mit dem normalen WLAN keinerlei Empfang. Mit dem Gateway ist die Signalstärke mit 73% (wird ebenfalls in der App angezeigt) jedoch noch sehr gut.Anbindung mehrerer Geräte: Die App erlaubt die Ansteuerung mehrerer LinkTap Computer über das selbe Gateway. Ich habe für zwei verschiedene Sektoren 2 Geräte in Betrieb, auch das funktioniert tadellos.Batterielaufzeit:Die LinkTap Geräte arbeiten mit je 4 AA-Batterien. Nach rund 6 Wochen Nutzung mit 2-3 Bewässerungen à 30 Minuten pro Woche ist das Batterielevel bei beiden Geräten immer noch auf 100%, d.h. die Batterien dürften viele Monate halten.Fazit:Nachdem ich mich seit Jahren mit diversen "smarten" Überwachungskameras, Fernschaltern etc. und deren vielfältigen Funktions- und Verbindungsproblemen rumgeschlagen habe, bin ich von der Qualität, der cleveren Funktionalität und der Verbindungsstabilität des LinkTap Systems sehr positiv überrascht. Klare Kaufempfehlung.Update 17.4.2025Zwischenzeitlich habe ich zwei der Geräte drei Jahre im Einsatz und habe vor Kurzem ein weiteres dazugekauft. Abgesehen von einem kleinen Problem an einem Durchflussmesser, das sofort und kompetent vom Kundendienst behoben wurde, funktionieren die Geräte bis heute absolut zuverlässig, sowohl was die eigentliche Bewässerungsfunktion als auch die Verbindung zu den Geräten aus der Ferne angeht.Der Kundenservice funktioniert nach wie vor hervorragend, selbst am Sonntag bekam ich Antwort auf eine Detail-Rückfrage.Besser geht's nicht!
