Better than expected
Love cooking with this powder so far. Smells similar to garlic powder and can get that garlic taste just like a garlic powder.. And the best part, it doesnโt upset my tummy.

A garlic replacer FODMAP hero
This garlic replacer is a life saver. It tastes like real garlic clove without the embarrassing side effects or garlic burps. We were using to rule out FODMAP issues. It has benefited other in the home and now extended family is also using and guests don't notice the difference. It's is the best garlic replacer we have tried!

thankful to have this seasoning
Delicious!!! Iโm on my now 3rd bag of this, iโm so thankful for this seasoning. Itโs great quality, smells devine, and 100% effective at getting you that garlicky taste that we oh so dearly miss my ONLY complaint is how fine the powder is, i wish it was like granulated garlic powder and not such fine garlic powder

Tastes and smells like real garlic!
I get stomach cramps if I even SMELL garlic and if I eat it? Forget it..... I've been this way my entire life but as an adult it's gotten really old considering garlic is in so many recipes. I decided to give this a try and initially was very skeptical considering it smells exactly like garlic. I've used it in my recipes a bunch of times now and zero stomach issues! This stuff makes cooking SO much easier. Normally if I had to make something that called for garlic I'd just leave it out which made my food pretty bland so now my recipes turn out better too. The only negative is how much it costs. The bag is pretty small. Another side note is that it's taking time for me to figure out how much of this stuff to use as I've overshot the mark a few times....but with that said and for the big pricetag it's better that a little goes a long way as far as flavoring. Very happy I found this stuff!

Perfect
I have terrible IBS and can no longer eat most foods unfortunately. This has brought garlic back into my life, which honestly should be the undertones in most cooked food. I grew up with lots of garlic in food and it feels so good to have it back in my life after nearly a decade. HOWEVER, do not use the ratio on the container. Err on the side of caution and start with less as it is very potent, which is great for the bang for your buck. The price can be a little bit hard to justify as I don't have a huge budget, but this stuff will last so long because you don't have to use that much, and it tastes great.

Not a bad substitute, but pricey.
I've been on a low FODMAP diet for 9 months now and have deeply missed garlic. I cook a lot, and garlic used to be a major ingredient in most of my meals, so I was trying to find an alternative. This replacer is acceptable but not anything particularly amazing. I've found it works as basically an even ratio to garlic powder, and the taste is fine. It tastes sort of like a weak or old garlic powder to me. It doesn't taste too chemically or fake, and has a good garlic smell to it. I'd rate it 4/5 but for the price, I knock it down to a 3/5. It's pretty okay but very expensive for the amount you get, basically costing 3-5x what plain garlic powder would have. But for anyone looking to satisfy a garlic craving or just SOMETHING for your soups, rubs and seasonings, this will work fine.

Stuff works great, but not for people with IC.
I was diagnosed with IBS and IC a few years ago and I've been trying to find substitutions for onion that didn't taste awful. This stuff was perfect and tasted great but unfortunately it affected my IC. This is no fault to the product itself as it was delicious and a great substitute, just not for me.

Unsafe at any Dose
I have been diagnosed with IBS-Mixed for over two years, but have suffered with symptoms going back to childhood. I'm in my mid-30s. I ditched garlic and onion years ago because I had too many instances of intense intestinal bloating and cramping along with diarrhea. After years of being off garlic, I thought I would try to safely reintroduce it. I thought this product might be the ticket. Boy, was I wrong!!! I tried this product once, mixed with plain tomato sauce in a batch of spaghetti. I doubt I used more than a 1/4 of a TEASPOON OF IT! The flavor and smell was overpowering every time I opened the pouch. Overall, it tasted alright, but the following day the trouble started... This stuff caused the most intense intestinal cramping I've experienced in YEARS!!! My guts went berserk trying to get rid of this stuff. It went on for two hours and forced me to call in sick to work the day after eating it! I threw the pouch in the garbage that day and will NEVER try a product like this again. It's too risky unless your gut symptoms are mild. The main ingredient is garlic oil, which for those of us with oil/fat as a trigger food is a total NO-GO!
