I dont know what the world people are talking about. These containers are super great, the perfect sizes and the lids snap on with no issues at all. I love them. They are definitely liquid spillage proof also with the seal on the lid. I would highly recommend them…

Yes the seal is good enough that you have to work at lifting the lid. But it's not an impossible task and I'm very pleased with how well this is kept sliced quiches and other frozen meals.

I was eagerly awaiting the new pieces but am so disappointed. It was as if Sistema decided to compete with the cheaper knock offs of their products by creating even crappier items to replace them. They are filmsy, the lids don't fit, and two of my six piece set are broken. They made the handles smaller and they are hard to snap into place. The plastic is flimsy and bends easily. It is a fight to get many of the.lids to sit straight. The piece inside the lid that was used to create a seal no longer seals. Absolute crap and not worth it even if you get them for free.

We put a couple of these on our wedding guest registry. One was ordered to be gift wrapped and delivered to us. It was broken inside the box inside the gift bag. Tried to return it, but e ended up having to buy a replacement with our own money. The replacement was what we expected, as described. Stays clean, convenient to pour from, just a little noisy if you are trying to pour cereal while everyone else is sleeping.

I have 4 different flours in these containers as well as 4 cereals. A latch broke on one container but the rest are holding up great. There are two latches on each container and the one container that has a broken latch still hold shut with the other latch...not ideal but I'm still using it! I will continue to buy them as the need arises. I like the rectangular shape, they stack neatly on the shelf. They hold the family size cereal boxes and almost a five lb flour sack.

I have two other Sistema food storage items and they are fantastic. This one is large enough for storing cereal which is great since I tend to ruin the bags the cereal comes in when first opening. It keeps the food fresh, it is super easy to clean, and I love the contoured grip which makes pouring the cereal super easy and mess free.

Overall seems like quality storage. I appreciate the size of the container. However, the lid is proving more annoying than I’d like. First, getting the lid to sit firmly and properly requires a bit extra maneuvering to make sure it aligns perfectly, and then need to press down a bit to make sure it seals. This leads to the next annoying part which is the snap ons. They require a decent amount of pressure to snap, or sometimes don’t snap because the lid isn’t pushed down enough (see first issue). Then consider this is a plastic container, when trying to push the snaps closed the container pushes in because it’s plastic. If the container were glass or something less flexible I’d feel more comfortable with the amount of pressure I need to put to snap the closures on. But still goes back to the lid is a bit annoying just to sit it properly. On the whole it seems like a quality container. But it’s frustrating dealing with the lid, so I would not purchase again nor do I think I could recommend it. But for my purposes, I primarily got to store stuff in the freezer so hopefully I won’t need to deal with the lid as often. But despite the great size and wanting to use for more frequent refrigerator access, I doubt I’ll use for this, because I don’t want to deal with the lid as much.

I have a lot of Sistema containers. They're great but I am not a fan of these ones with the locking clips on the lid. All of my others have the clips on the base, which makes them easy to fasten especially if the container is not full. That is trickier for these new ones as the sides will push in and the clips won't catch. I also received one set that was missing a clip on the side of one of the lids. I see that there are still some of the others sets available, so I will probably get one of those. I was most interested in the 2L container, which is why I got this pack of three. They do the job, I just prefer the clip on the base in the older model.
