Bluedee Computer Speakers for Desktop PC, Bluetooth AUX Computer Sound Bar

What a great buy. I did a lot of research before buying this speaker with built-in mic and it is absolutely amazing. The sound quality is amazing and the mic quality is also amazing. It is such an amazing upgrade from attending meetings over the laptop speaker. Unlike other reviews, I did not find any trouble with connection to Bluetooth. The whole process was self-explanatory and seamless. The bonus is the skin and solve troubleshooting video guide that comes attached to your speaker. It literally has QR code to be scanned for each step and it will take you directly to the video.

Effortless set up, solid boost in sound quality for my laptop and switch 2 when I don't feel like wearing my headphones, and the dial button for volume control is a much welcome classic design I wish more things had

This is a powerful speaker for its size, very convenient to put between my 2 monitors. Not very big, but just enough with plenty of power. You will thoroughly enjoy the music. And any of the podcast or the other things? Maybe like YouTube or TikTok or other sites like Facebook, you'll definitely enjoy this speaker. The lighting is crazy. The reliability of this is fantastic. It's very adjustable, very versatile. The cable length is fine to get to your computer and easy to hook upI have had my now for over six months and have no trouble. Whatsoever with it

Awesome speaker, works flawlessly. It has a nice bass sound to it, a nice improvement over the laptop speakers. It is a solid speaker and connects instantly (just remember to plug the USB into an active USB port. It is small and light enough to fit in my laptop bag, should I decide to take it with me while traveling to watch movies/YouTube videos. There is no battery to worry about, and the light bar is an added touch, as a flare to entertainment, and it looks nice.This is my second one, the first one is connected to my desktop workstation, and this one is connected to my laptop docking station, which I use for three different laptops (Windows 11, MacBook Pro and Ubuntu Linux). The speaker is plugged into the headphone jack on the docking station and works with whichever laptop is connected to the docking station. Prior to this, if I had more than one laptop on, I never knew which one would be connected to the bluetooth speaker. Then I would have to go through the process of disabling and enabling the bluetooh on each laptop.

Context: I have my gaming PC setup in our office. It’s perfect except that I don’t have any external speakers. With the space available on my desk, I figured a sound bar would be a better option than stand-alone, upright speakers. After an hour of research and deliberation, I went with this one.Pros:- Sound far exceeded my expectations considering it’s running on 5 watts of power via USB-A. Not a ton of bass, but it can get plenty loud for 5 watts.- The sound knob adjust the volume appropriately. It’s not too fast or too slow in its increments. Feels natural.- The size is great for a smaller area.- It can connect via USB-A and an Auxiliary 3.5mm jack, or you can skip the 3.5mm and use Bluetooth.- Front LED bar can be turned off.Cons:- The Bluetooth lagged big time. We’re talking about a half-second at least. Firing shots in a game left a significant delay. Watching YouTube was unbearable.- The instructions weren’t the best. Quite vague. Took me a minute to understand how to switch between wired mode and Bluetooth mode and back again.- The front LED bar is an automatic "breathing" light that changes colors. This CANNOT be adjusted.- *****biggest gripe***** The ends of this soundbar have green LED’s. They are bright green. They are always on if the soundbar has power. You CANNOT turn them off unless you unplug the USB-A cable or your PC turns off it’s USB ports when powered down. I ended up disassembling my soundbar (popping off the ends caps) to reveal one LED that I could unplug, and then I disassembled the end with the volume knob (bit more complicated). I couldn’t find a plug that controlled only the green LEDs so I lifted the green board and popped off the LEDs from the board using a Stanley knife. I know have a non-green LED soundbar.Overall:3/5; I’m not sure why the green lights MUST be on, but it’s annoying, or why you can't customize the front LED. Other than that, this sound bar has exceeded my expectations in terms of sound quality.

The Bluedee soundbar has been the best speaker that I have purchased. The sound is clear and crisp.

*Update on 3/10/22*Someone claiming to be a representative reached out to me looking to help solve the problem, which is nice, but in their email they asked me to changing my rating to 5 stars before anything had even been fixed or discussed. It comes off as trying to buy ratings and I refuse to recommend any product from a company that tries to do that. There are other options out there, I would suggest to look elsewhere.*Original Review*A decent sound bar but there are few things to keep in mind when purchasing.Pros: Over the fit and finish is excellent and the knob is pretty good. It's sleek and will look good on any computer desk. Sound is pretty good for the price with decent bass and clear highs.Neutral: The RGB function is neat, but there's only two modes, either breathing or off. Not much variation for this being a big selling point. Also the volume defaults to 50%, I can understand why they did that to protect your hearing but keep this in mind. The single volume button on the side is multi function which is either hit or miss, I find myself forgetting how long to hold and how many presses to activate a function. Honestly I would just rather have some smaller buttons on the side to activate certain functions like bluetooth pairing.Cons: The biggest issue is the Bluetooth connectivity memory will be lost if you cut off power. As there's no internal battery or memory retention, if you kill the power, it won't remember the previous pairings so when you power it back on, you will have to put this in paring mode and reconnect. Expanding on the RGB, the limited modes leaves me wanting more and it's one of those questions that you ask is if would it have just been better off removing it to cut some of the cost?Overall this didn't work for me as I wanted it in my garage to play music via Bluetooth. However, the issue of forgetting the pairings with power loss didn't fit my use case and it got really annoying very quickly to have to put it back in pairing mode each time I powered it back on. If you were to leave it constantly connected to USB power and didn't mind the limited RGB functions, then this will would work for you, esp with the price point, but for me, it didn't.

I love this speaker, the price for it is good. Not only that, the sound quality is actually surprisingly good. You can hear the different tones, and hear bass as well which is a plus. But ive recently noticed that the speaker is softer now, and only half the speaker is working? It used to be loud but not its not, which could be the build issue. I've never moved the speaker at all, so theres no chance it was damaged on my end, which sucks honestly.Speaker didnt last too long until a volume started decreasing. Review would be higher if it lasted longer.EDIT: After writing my review, the company reached out to me about the issues with speaker and offered to replace it for free. Now that I've received it, it works beautifully, 10/10 customer service! I really recommend them now 100%.

I originally bought this speaker to be able to use something other than my laptop's integrated audio.I was impressed right out of the box. The speaker looks good and has a nice weight to it. I am really glad it's not made of plastic. The braided cable has a nice diameter and is definitely durable.After using it for more than two years, this speaker is great. For my personal use and taste, it sounds well balanced and the maximum volume is more than loud enough (I use it right in front of me on my desk for music and gaming when I don't want to wear my headphones).I feel like I have been a little bit unfair with my original review by taking one star off because the led lights on the sides can’t be turned off completely, but I just taped over them with electrical tape and it’s like they were never there.The price stayed the same since I purchased mine in September 2022 so great bang for the buck!

I have had this device for one week, and have the following impressions:1) The lights - turning off the lights does not turn off the lights on the ends. Not ideal - when you want a dark room, you want all lights off when you want all lights off. Also, the light effects do not apply to the ends - the ends are forever green. This seems odd. In favour, however, the lights are pretty cool. I left them on the cool breathing effect.2) The cable - a nice, rugged, braided cable seems pretty sturdy. However - you cannot disconnect it from the speaker. So if a cable issue *does* arrive - the entire unit is impacted. You can't just replace the cable. Seems not ideal.3) Powering - I do like that it is USB powered. Keeps things tidy.4) Sound - It turns up louder than I expect you will need on a desktop. Plenty loud for music. The bass is fine, superior to my built-in monitor speakers. A nice upgrade!5) connectivity - nice flexibility between BT and wired, but wired is not an option I wish to use. I want the wireless appearance on my desk, ad I want the BT functions from the device, like play/pause. So my review is BT-only.I noticed, right after installing this device, that my other BT devices, previously stable, became unstable. Specifically I have a BT mouse, and keyboard. Both devices will often experience a BT disconnect, and lag in reconnecting. The impact of this is, I move the mouse, and have to wait 5s or so until the computer reconnects it and the cursor moves. Same goes for the KB. I have to hit a key, and see if the KB is connected. If not, wait 5s for it to connect, then everything is fine. This happens often, like 10x a day. I contacted support, and they mentioned 2.4Ghz interference.. but until this device showed up, there was no issue. And removing this device (unplugging it, powering it off) restores stability to the other BT devices. Not sure what's going on here, but it's a drag.UPDATE:After working with Bluedee support, they recommended a move to a non-BT wireless mouse, to reduce interference. This is an acceptable compromise, and seems to have fixed the BT disconnect issues, so bumped the review up to a 4.

I was reluctant to spend close to $60 on a speaker when I saw the top negative reviews, but after researching similar products on Amazon I decided to buy this.First of all, I'm not sure how others are using their speakers, but I mostly use mine to watch videos/listen to music on YouTube or Netflix in my room. I keep my computer volume at around 8-12 and spin the speaker knob to about halfway and the sound is more than loud enough. I don't blast my music but the speaker is able to be quite loud while still sounding clear. I wasn't looking for a speaker with good bass but there is depth in the sound quality with no feedback or static sounds. For my intended purpose, the speaker was just what I was looking for! There are also no issues when I use the headphone jack in front, and this was one of the key reasons I decided on this speaker instead of others.My only criticism would be that when you turn off the LED in front it could turn off the LED on both sides of the speakers. It stays as a very bright green

A great product EXCEPT they didn't include mic passthrough with the 3.5mm jack... Huge negative and really no excuse as far as I know not to have it in there. Other annoying thing is the side LEDs don't change or turn off with the bottom LED bar, they always are on green...For the price and size of the device, sound quality is excellent. It's obviously not a subwoofer or a $500+ speaker so you cannot expect really deep loud bass or the kind of quality you'd get from far more expensive products but it delivers great sound for what it is at the price. Perfect imo for everyday users playing music and doing general computer stuff, watching online media, casual gaming, etc.Pros:-Great sound for the price-Easy to adjust volume control-3.5mm AUX Input (but see CONS)-No external/separate power supply/cable (USB Powered)Cons:-3.5mm Input does NOT support microphone passthrough (really was disappointed about this)-side LED's remain green and don't change color with the bottom led bar... also don't turn off with the bottom led bar so kind of annoying
