Big Butane Torch Kitchen Large Professional Powerful and Strong Blow Torch and Refillable Cooking Culinary Lighter Adjustable Kitchen Torch for Creme Brulee Baking Soldering(Fuel Not Included)

This is a well-made little blow torch, easy to fill, spark ignition, easy to use but maybe a little extreme as a soldering torch as it's quite powerful. I used it to join some copper plates together to form an earthed mains hum shield (for my hifi). Ordinary, even butane gas powered, soldering irons couldn't work as the copper plates conducted the heat away too rapidly. This thing was fantastic, but before I fully understood to keep the solder out of the flame, I was making a mess. Just heating the plates and then allowing the solder to run worked brilliantly. I love it!

This kitchen butane torch is exactly what I needed to help me out in the kitchen. It is perfect for finishing off steaks allowing for a restaurant quality chargrilled finish whilst still allowing the centre of the meat to be cooked perfectly. previously I had used the grill to finish my steak off but the additional heat over-cooked the steak. Other methods I tried was a searing hot pan, but this leads to smoke in the kitchen. With this torch the result is achieved in seconds, no smoke. I have also used it to finish off ribs to perfection, chargrilled chicken, even crisping up pork crackling. The flame is adjustable and lighting it is as simple as pushing the ignition button. It is also really useful to get those BBQ briquets up to heat without the need for firelighters. Easy to fill from a general gas lighter refill, and also once the ring is fitted on the bottom it is nice and sturdy and does not fall over.

Been using this torch daily to heat up quartz glass for about 10 months now and have had no problems whatsoever, solid torch for the price and would say much better value compared to your big shots and blazers.

I'm right handed, and i find this a bit fiddly to hold, turn the knob to release the gas, then fire it up. However, once on, its got a fantasic long flame. I use it for lighting the log burner. Very pleased overall

UPDATE: Excellent response from Bochuang EU who contacted me within hours of this review going live offering a replacement. This arrived a fee days later and is currently working excellently. UPDATE 2: Several weeks later and the new torch is working perfectly still. Definitely pleased with it. Would recommend both the item and the excellent customer service from Bochuang EU. I've had this blow torch for 6 months and I was happy with it. It looks good, handles nicely and has a strong adjustable flame but the problems started after it's first refill ... I filled it up and used it once when I went to it again it was empty. Maybe I had left it on I thought (not likely because how would I have turned it off?) I refilled it again and again it was empty on the next use. It was then I noticed after it was turned off a tiny residual flame in the nozzle. The blow torch is leaking gas even after it is turned off from the top. The return date was only a couple of weeks after purchase so money wasted.

The torch is slightly larger than a regular kitchen torch and it takes a very generous 40g of gas. What I like a lot is that the head is all metal, the nozzle is ceramic covered in a metal sleeve, this thing feels and looks premium. Ignition and control knob also feel very professional. The flame goes from short-fine to seriously long and powerful. Only time will tell about reliability! I'm really happy I ordered it as I was struggling to find a good torch for crafts and workshop use and I definitely recommend it.

I have tried multiple BUTANE torches and none were up to the job. This one however, is the best one I have tried. Highly recommended for daily use!

I've had this a few months now, and the igniter still works, unlike every other torch lighter I've owned. Functions as expected, as good as the more expensive name brand ones I have purchased in the past. Very stable, not prone to tipping over. Would buy again. Great value.

Works perfectly

It Worked fine for a few weeks until it stopped igniting and the only way to get it to start was to light it up for another lighter. I brought 2 of them and they both stopped sparking to start the fire
