Universal led Light Strip Tail Brake Stop Turn Signal 32LED 8" Flexible led light for motorcycle

Hello All, I purchased this light because my 2016 HD Iron 883 only has the 2 bullet lights and I didn't feel THAT safe about people being able to see me day or night. So, I originally bought a taillight that "fit" the Harley sportsters underneath the fender and was supposed to be flush. If you're looking at this review, you've probably seen what I'm talking about if you searched the sportster taillights like I did. DO NOT BUY THE BIG LIGHT I INCLUDED BELOW Motorcycle Smoke LED Stop Brake License Plate Rear Tail Light Stop Running Light for Harley(Smoke Lens) ***BUT, the one I bought was so thick! It stuck out about an inch from the bottom of the fender. Then, when my girlfriend and I 2 upped on my motorcycle, we hit a speed bump going average speed and the suspension dipped so low that it was literally DESTROYED by the wheel. Like seriously, Why would they make a light that sticks so low that it literally had less than an inch of clearance from the tire!! SO, I stumbled upon this light to replace the the poorly designed one that broke. I wanted something that had a good amount of clearance and/or was completely away from the tire altogether. This light is flexible, bright and easy to wire. The wire diagram included in the product photos is exactly how it is. Self explanatory. I did not use the turn signals as I rely on my bullet taillights as turn signals and I had originally hooked it up as a brakelight with a flashing module. I included what I used in the product link: Vehicle Brake Light Flasher Module. Safety Flash Light Alert. Universal. For Motorcycles and Cars. ***HERES THE THING.... The original light they sent me had 4 burnt out LEDs for some reason. As you can see in 3 of the photos I included, the working lights did flash when brakes were applied. However the 4 right LEDs were dead. I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement ASAP! The seller was great and I received the new light quickly and it works with no problem at all! So thank you to the seller for providing excellent customer service! I will be highly recommending this light! Can't wait to ride my baby with the comfort of knowing that people will be able to see me clearly day/night! I included photos of it off and on and you can really see how bright they are even during the day!

*READ BEFORE BUYING* Alright, time for one of my many honest reviews on here. This light works. It is flexible. And I didn’t believe everybody complaining about how small the wires were coming from the light, but they are extremely small. Like 26 gauge wire. But with a careful set of hands, I managed to wire them into my stock OEM ATV brake light harness. This light comes with 5 wires. One for a negative. One for a running light. One for the bright brake light. And two for turn signals (left and right). I did not use the turn signals. So I wrapped them up and made them water tight just like I did with everything else including the connections I made to the wiring harness. As far as waterproof goes I’d give it a 3 out of 5 stars. They really didn’t do much to make any seals around both sides of the light. Even where the wire goes in, and the other side as well. But was easily fixed with silicone gasket maker and a neat electrical tape job. Over all this product may be chinese, it could be russian, I don’t care. It works. No LED’s have died yet. I got it 2 days ago and wired it up immediately. So as far as a longevity thing goes, I’ll edit my review in a month or so after I put it through the ringer and give it a full opinion compared to these stupid other reviews. EDIT: Still holding up. Works perfect. Hasn’t lost brightness, no water issues, no LED’s burning out. Still works. EDIT TWO YEARS LATER: Sold the atv. Brake light worked correctly the entire time. No shorts, no issues. Guess it was just one of those weird products that are cheap but stupidly reliable. Bought a motorcycle now, will be purchasing another one.

The light itself appears to be great quality. It is flexible and appears water tight and durable. The lights are of decent brightness. They won't knock you out and I wouldn't feel comfortable with these as my only lights. However they are visible in daylight and make a great low profile auxiliary to the stock tail light, brake and turn indicators on my bike. That being said, for $10 the lights are above expectations. The only think keeping this from a glowing 5 star review are the tiny wires. They are most assuradly NOT 16 Guage per the description. More like 24 or 26 Guage. My wire strippers don't have a setting to strip these wires and the metal itself is about 4 or 5 strands. I don't question the ability of these small wires to carry the current needed for these LEDs,. But it makes install a challenge as the wire is so thin that crimp connectors are problematic. The wire slips out orlf the metal strands are severed by the crimping action. If this was truly 16 Guage or 18 Guage wire, I would give a full 5 stars. For now... It is okay as long as you are comfortable working through the wire connections...

Once I got a proper LED flasher relay, this light kit performs perfectly. I have it mounted on a KTM 450 EXC, the red running light is bright, and the brake light is even brighter. The turn signals are bright and work beautifully, it's very easy to see and tell the difference even with the red light running. There's only one ground with this light, my application worked best if you ran the ground with the red running lights only, I left the turn signal grounds unconnected. I may wire up a dongle to connect all the grounds together, but for now it's fine. Note on the wire: It's a small guage wire and not extremely durable, I would strongly recommend soldering bullet connectors, using head shrink on each strand and then another couple pieces of heat shrink over the whole thing. This will make the connections more secure, water resistance and easier to install.

I mounted this on the back on my Motorcycle two months ago, The install was not terribly difficult if you have some basic electrical system knowledge. although there could have been some simple changes to make it easier. The biggest frustration was the wires were so tiny! (I think 26 or 28 gauge) Which was easily solved by stripping twice as much wire and folding it over before crimping. on amazon there is a picture posted labeling which wire controls which feature ex. turn signal, running, lights, etc. however there is no indication of which way is up. so be careful to test a turn signal before you stick it on or else your left turn signal could be flashing on the right. After the install I was happy with how this worked, everything worked as supposed to running lights, brake light, and turn signals. nice and bright lights. However I noticed after I was stuck riding home in the rain one time that two of the leds weren't working any longer for the running lights. I'm fairly certain that water ran in past the cheap plastic end cap plugs and shorted something out. I would recommend sealing the ends and then reinserting the plastic cap. Good product for the price, however since it was not an easy install and the ends would need to be sealed before use I would not buy this again

I've been using this light for the majority of the summer on my 78 Yamaha tracker project and I haven't had any issues whatsoever. Installation and placement is on you and this light takes care of the rest. It's super bright and easily visible from afar. I was worried that the running and brake lights would flood out the turn signals when in use but they stand out exceptionally well. After a little over 4 months and multiple involuntary rain tests it continues to work with no issues. No complaints about the adhesive either; as long as you install it on a clean, oil-free surface it won't budge. Also, since it doesn't come with a wiring diagram: Black - Ground White - Running Red - Brake Green & Yellow - Turn Signals

sticks well, bright enough, plenty of options to connect however you want. many options to connect with or without brake light, running light, indicator lights, or combinations of what lights up when you turn on your lights or brake. Very versatily, seems to be good quality. Second time I bought these, the first pair, after 1 year, got condensation in them so I did make an extra effort this time to add some "liquid rubber" on both ends of the light strip.

For the money you can’t beat it it works great it’s bright the turn signals could be a bit brighter but it works great and is holding up pretty good been 4 months and it’s still on the bike the adhesive is holding great all the led lights are still working the wiring is plenty long enough for almost any motorcycle it fit perfectly on my 2017 street bob rear fender and the brake and running light are bright

Great light and super bright! Easy to install but the wires are very small so take care when stripping them to connect. I would strongly recommend this for the price and value.
