PowerLock connected. Review: Good Everyday Chain - It's a good "working man's" chain. By that I realize it's not the chain to put on your $8,000 carbon-everything race bike. If you're weighing everything to the gram level, you're better off with a hollow-pin chain (KMC has the best prices on those, IMO). For a robust, get-the-job-done chain that comes at a very reasonable price, these are a great way to go. I'm a bit of a large meathead type on a bike (former wrestler and football linebacker turned cyclist) and sometimes I just don't know my own strength and I'll start with way too much power on the pedals from a cold start. This has resulted in a snapped chain more than a few times. For that reason alone, I'm not willing to shell out $80-$100+ for each chain I get. I've put these on a few bikes now and I've always been pleased with the result. I also recommend getting a pack of the KMC Missing Links here on desertcart as well and throwing them in your cycling pack (helps out with those aforementioned snapped chain incidents). My application is mountain biking so I am not kind to my chain. I attached an image of my old chain to demonstrate my lack of kindness toward bike chains. Notice how I have cracked a roller completely off of my old chain. The new chain runs very quiet with no sticky links. The new chain looks to be of a more precise manufacture. Although Onogo US delivered promptly..ahead of schedule..desertcart still thinks my order is in transit. As such I will rate Onogo as a great seller here in my review since I cannot rate sellers until desertcart thinks they have delivered. Thanks Onogo US! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ SRAM 10-Speed Chain *by M***L on August 30, 2013* I bought this as a replacement for the stock Shimano chain that came on my Cannondale with 105 gruppo. I replaced it because the original chain had stretched well beyond the point of replacement, and was missing shifts up and down. I went with the SRAM because it uses a master link, making it much easier to install. It took about 10 minutes from out of the package to on the bike. You will need a chain breaker to remove the excess length. It hasn't missed a beat - or a shift - in 500+ miles. I recommend that you measure chain stretch if you're having trouble shifting. If you let it go too long it can damage the cassette and chainrings.
