Edens Garden Magnolia Essential Oil, 100% Pure Therapeutic Grade (Undiluted Natural/Homeopathic Aromatherapy Scented Essential Oil Singles) 10 ml

This magnolia is beautiful. It’s a complete fragrance all on its own, with very sweet honey notes and some gentle hints of musk. It’s much sweeter than I recall the southern magnolia flowers around my home as a child. But it is the same underlying scent. It’s somehow fresh, almost syrupy sweet, and deep at the same time. Just wonderful.

Candy-like, icky smell. Missed the return window sadly!

I ordered Magnolia oil, and wow, I have never smelled a magnolia like that before. It is absolutely awful, I would have given this negative stars if able too.

I was quite surprised and thrilled to see Eden's Garden carrying Michelia x Alba, a flower of east Asian origin which I've always wanted to try, but have never seen offered so affordably, I was not disappointed~ Truth be told I was nervous from reading other reviewers who reported a stench of black licorice (I despise few things more in the world than licorice!!), but thankfully I only pick up deep, rich notes with a tiny hint of spice, which make this oil intriguing to blend with a wide variety of other essentials and absolutes. Best of all, this EO has a strong pungency to it, which makes it easy to dilute to a more subtle note for aromatherapy, or just use less of in general and get the most of the slightly steep 10ml/$36 pricetag. Usually, I find 1 or 2 drops in diffuser blends of about 7-10 drop combinations to be perfect. My favorite oils to blend so far with this lovely Magnolia/Michelia Alba: ⋆ Hinoki Cypress ⋆ Citrus Cream [synergy blend by Eden's Garden] ⋆ Jasmine Sambac ⋆ Jasmine Sambac AND Citrus Cream [have been diffusing this blend for a week straight!! ♡♡♡] As a passing note, to all leaving ignorant, nasty reviews on this product [how to ENJOY ESSENTIAL OILS MORE]: ALWAYS look up the scientific name of an herb/flower/etc before you buy a pricey essential oil of it. No, this is not the same magnolia from the southern US, nor does it claim to be. Do your research on how the specific oil smells, too, as not every EO is perfectly identical to how the herb/etc smells in nature. Also, be sure to try the oil out in different forms (diluted on skin, in diffuser, etc) blended with other aromas before giving a harsh review strictly based on OOB smell. Otherwise, I can promise, you will have countless more disappointments, and ruin the reviews of many good products for the rest of us!!

Oh my gosh! I love the smell of the magnolia flower. I was trying to find that in an oil I could either put on or bathe with. Although I can’t say this smells just like Magnolia, I can say that it smells devine! I’m almost out! I use it in the bath. Just two or three drops does the trick. If you love Magnolia or anything close to that smell just buy this! It’s heavenly!!!
