Sony HD Video Recording HDRCX440 Handycam Camcorder : desertcart.ae Review: I'm really amazed at how much they can put into such a lightweight camera these days. I have owned several Sony camcorders over the years. This one isn't my favorite but it's damn nice. The manual lens cover works fine (my other opens automaticly) and it turns on and off by opening and closing the view screen (no independent on/off switch or viewfinder). I knew that when I bought it so I was ready for that. I used it for my nephew's wedding and the footage looks great. I installed the app and it's great. It gives the capability to zoom in and out and, if you have up to six working together, you could control them all. There's a live broadcast feature I didn't use but should be great too. This is a good alternative to the more expensive GoPro IF you aren't wearing it. It's extremely light and seems cheap but works very well for me. Review: I haven't had any problems with this camera. This is my second one (first one stolen). I had my first one for a couple of years, same camera. I like how small and light weight it is. Also, using the tiny micro SD is nice. The video quality is pretty good. I mostly use it outdoors and this is where it shines. Indoors with low light, the video is grainy. Sound quality is very good and it picks up even low dialogue. Getting around the menus isn't great, when you first start using it, but you figure it out quickly where to go. I've tried the wireless streaming to a TV and it works just fine. Runs pretty smooth.

I ordered this for my niece before her new baby was born. While I can't personally comment on the camera's abilities, I can say that she LOVES it. I ordered all the accessories and she told me that it is easy to take with her for any outing and can select only what she needs to bring. The pictures and videos that I received are of good quality as well. And I can't complain about the price either. Very resonable for what I bought.

This was a gift for a middle-school-er. She was able to start using it right away. The videos are very clear and the stabilizer keep things from bouncing around as she panned over everything. The grip and screen make the camera easy to use and she had the menus down in very little time. The videos displayed directly from the camera to the HD TV easily. Individual pictures are equally good. This is a very good value for someone who wants videos more than individual shots.

After attempting to figure out why I kept getting a message "only playback possible during use power supply". So, if you want to use this to livestream or if you're a teacher and want to use this with your online classes just attach the USB cable that's sticking out of the right side by the power light to a USB cable and then use the AC from Sony - only the ones from Sony work. This will keep your camera powered. In the secret door to the left behind the screen door is where you find the HDMI input port. Purchase a HDMI cable that has a mini HDMI and a full size HDMI male plugs. After that I got an adapter " A USB Video Capture " external device. This system fired right up. It took time to figure it out. Works Great. Frustrating, though to go all through this.
