Overall, I would rate KOS's Super Greens Powder an 8.8/10. Its packaging was simple enough, and I honestly think it’s really cute and compact considering that it still holds a month of quantity inside of it. It does come with a small scooper, the first time getting out was a little messy, but otherwise, I appreciated that it came with it. In terms of flavor, I personally couldn't drink more than 3/4 cup. It wasn’t too bad by itself, but I will say, it tastes as you would imagine. It’s not fruity or sweet, and it has a bit of a “foggy texture” if that makes sense. It both has the look, as well as almost a faded taste, or, maybe if you could imagine there being a coating? It’s definitely not something I can continue to drink stand-alone. For the sake of reviewing the product, I didn't mix it with anything, I wanted to give my opinion on its natural state. However, in the future, I’ll probably mix it in with smoothies or refresher drinks to help cover the “greens bitterness” and that “cloudiness” that I was referring to. Also, I personally prefer my drinks chilled, so in this case, the product isn't the best for those like me either considering you have to continue to mix it properly, and if you wait for it to cool down, it will separate. I haven't attempted to put it in the fridge despite this and try to re-mix it, but I've checked other online reviews and their own instructions, and basically, it may not work anyway. I'm still going to try to see if it's a method that could work for me to not waste anything, but we shall see. Lastly, in terms of odor, I actually thought it smelled like the apple sorbet flavor, but it lost the taste in the drink transition, unfortunately. I’m hoping by mixing it with other things some of that apple-fruity-ness will come back. I definitely think it's a great alternative if you're looking for a greens-filled alternative, but as I said earlier, I would do so cautiously if you’re not the type to be able to force-drink if it doesn’t meet your taste expectations, or of course, if you think you’ll be able to add it to things you already drink or plan on making. In terms of price, I think it would've been better off around the $25 mark instead of the $33-$35 mark, or maybe to have it cheaper if you buy it in bulk quantities or on the subscription plan, but otherwise, I don't think the pricing was too bad if it works well for you and you enjoy the mixture. I’ve been taking daily greens and reds for years now but my normal reds product was discontinued, so I needed to find a replacement. I was skeptical about trying this based on the mixed reviews about taste, but I gave it a try. I’m glad I did! In my opinion, I thought it had a nice berry flavor with a mild beet flavor undertone. If you like jarred beets, the flavor isn’t off-putting at all, but if you don’t like jarred beets, the beet flavor will be very noticeable and most likely undesirable for you. So, I guess it really comes down to personal preference. The flavor also mixes well with a number of smoothie flavors too - it doesn’t overpower the other flavors. I also think the powder mixes well in just water and stirred with a spoon. It does clump sometimes, but never clumps when mixed in a smoothie - still just stirred with a spoon. I doubt it would clump at all in a shaker bottle mixed with a smoothie mix or on its own. My only complaint is the number of serving in a container. I wish it was a full month supply, but that’s not a deal breaker. Hope this review helps some people. Thanks!

100% recommend! Even my 7 year old loves it. He has ADHD, and this has been great to give him before school. It’s better priced than the greens gummies from other brands. The apple taste is great! I suggest mixing it with 1/2 cup water. If you dilute it too much, it is a little unpleasant.

This product is fairly expensive consdiering the cost of fresh fruits, but then again goji, pomegranite and acai are very costly. but I think that this is a great replacement or subsitute for those looking to get Acai, Pomegranite and Goji berries on a daily basis. It smells and tastes great, and because it is a dry powder, it will last much longer than anything fresh without needing to be frozen. It came with a nice seal so that you can ensure that it was fresh and untampered with. It comes with a dessicant packet to ensure dryness as well as a dosing scoop. It is a bit gritty but I enjoy that texture which is similar to a freshly blended acai. I use it for additions to smoothies instead of using it as the entire base and I think this way it will last much longer than by going through the directed dosing. While it doesn't provide the thickness that you would expect from actual freshly blended frozen fruits, it still does add some froth. However, like I said, adding it to some smoothie base with some frozen fruits and ice is an excelent flavor booster and will help deliver that extra punch of vitamins and anti-oxidants.

Overall, the product is fine. It serves its purpose to provide additional greens in your diet and is generally palatable. In my opinion, it does not taste super great as the flavor is very artificial. I would actually prefer it to taste more green like cucumber or kale. It also made my stomach hurt quite a bit when I drank it in the morning on an empty stomach, but was fine during the day. As other reviews have pointed out, it tastes a bit grainy when mixed just with water, but is great in a smoothie!
