Wrong Part. This replacement cable does not fit the Dell Precision 5510. The Jack is ok but the connector at the other is smaller than the mating connector in the computer. Another difference is that the cable shown in the picture does have the EMI ferrite close to the jack, as the one in the Dell computer, but the cable received does not have it.

My wife's Dell XPS15 9560 stopped charging from the normal charging port a few months ago. We could still charge it using the USB-C port and a docking station, but that was kind of unwieldy lugging the big docking station around when we traveled. I had had a similar problem years ago with an XPS13, and changing the power port didn't help with that computer. But for less than $10 I figured I could give it a try on this one. I installed this power jack in about 15 minutes after watching a couple of YouTube videos, and when I plugged in the power supply, voila, the battery started charging again! I guess sometimes charging problems are simple, and sometimes they aren't. This part did its job for me. It got my wife's XPS15 back on its feet, and got my wife off of my back. Thumb's up. Oh, it looked just like the part that I removed from the laptop, and the charger pin fit nice and snug in the new port...not too tight, not too loose.
