This cup is, well...a cup. What is rather disappointing is that the text on the cup is not as dark as it could be - looks like it might disappear too soon. I would advise hand washing to keep the text on as long as possible. It would be better if I felt it could go through the dishwasher and last. Don't know about microwave yet, there is no indication whether it is microwavable or not...crossing my fingers.
