Best case for both keyboard and ipad protection
Have owned this for almost a year now so this isn’t an out of the box review. So I’ve tested about 10 different cases and this one is still on top, primarily for its keyboard. If you’re reading this you’re probably equally frustrated by all these other cases promising you instant connectivity and great responsiveness- only to sit down and attempt to write a paper that ends up with annoying typos and double letters where there shouldn’t be. Looking at you, Brydge. Especially for those working in fields with uncommon terminology or various languages that require disabling autocorrect, having “aaaa” instead of “a”s all the time can make you feel like chucking your iPad at the wall. No problems with that here, and everything’s still working smoothly after a year. So, keyboard is great. The key feel is similar to a MacBook, which I’m already used to, a bit small but expected since i have an 11” 2021 model. The trackpad works perfect for me, but I usually use the touchscreen and pencil so have limited comment. Durability! I’m pretty clumsy and have definitely dropped my ipad more than a couple of times. Amazingly no scratches or damage at ALL- can’t say the same with my older iPad Pro and it’s not so magic keyboard (RIP). Yes this case is a bit heavier but absolutely worth it. The case stays closed with magnets and wraps around the corner edges, and is a tiny bit bigger than the iPad itself which gives a little border for extra protection. Age of Covid= need to sanitize after coffee shop stints? Check. I’ve used alcohol wipes and even purell on occasion after a plane ride, working at the coffee shop, library, or sitting in a public area, and this PVC-ish cloth material it’s made of has held up just fine. I don’t anticipate dousing it for years to come, but for now there’s been no issue in terms of needing to get rid of any germs that might ride home. In short- well done Logitech. My family’s used Logitech brand keyboards, speakers, mice, etc, and for me this case continues to perform up to standard. Hope this helps others, and I’ll update this review as I continue to use this! —UPDATE I was considering switching to logitechs slim folio, which has nearly the same high quality responsive keyboard, but without a trackpad and with a flap for your pencil. The slim one is going back- it’s actually thicker than the combo, and because of the way it props up (the keyboard is only activated once it clicks into place), there’s only one possible position for the tablet. So, the Combo remains the winner in my list of keyboard/cases for my iPad.

Replaced worn keyboard
This is my replacement keyboard for my iPad Pro 11 3rd gen. I’ve had the very same Logitech for at least 3 years and it was just time for a new one. The lettering on the keys that get a “workout” starts to wear off. I looked at getting an external keyboard to just get by for a bit at a half the price. I read everything and didn’t like the cheaper boards. So I just ordered what I had in the past. The new keyboard came today and I am so glad I stuck with Logitech. It pops on so fast and you are up and running in no time. I love typing on it, I love how portable and lightweight and the ease of positioning. The way the keyboard attaches and pops off is the best if you want to use as a traditional notebook is really a nice feature. I like the fact that it draws power from the IPad so there is no charging separately. Also if you ever drop the IPad the case really holds up and protects the IPad from damage. So glad I bought a new one!!!

Excellent iPad Keyboard Case
The Logitech Combo Touch is a great keyboard case for the iPad Pro 11-inch. The keyboard feels comfortable to type on, the trackpad is responsive, and the detachable design makes it easy to switch between typing and tablet use. It also provides good protection while still being practical for everyday use. Overall, a high-quality case that makes the iPad much more useful for work and school.

Great Keyboard and Trackpad, but sent it back
My previous review is below. Much of it still stands. However, I sent it back within a month. The issues are: 1. The ports and speaker cutouts began to deform. It just looks tacky for a product at this price point. I haven’t even seen that on $10 cases. 2. The case is heavy and makes your iPad unpleasant to hold. 3. It is actually a nuisance to remove the keyboard all of the time to use up your iPad as an oh so heavy tablet. 4. The stand is a bit difficult to pry open I have owned Microsoft Surfaces for years. The fit, finish, and functionality is much higher than what is offered in the Logitech case. OLD REVIEW I was expecting the Combo Touch to be the perfect iPad Pro accessory. It is close: 1. Functionality The keyboard and trackpad feel are absolutely fantastic. I am 120% satisfied. The case generally protects the device. I will continue to use this case. It will replace my Apple Magic Keyboard. 2. Materials The material is not what I expected. I own the Logitech KeysToGo, Apple Ipad Magic Keyboard, Apple Ipad Keyboard Folio (multiple iPads) and Microsoft surface. I find the material to be a bit below those in the tactile experience, appearance, and potentially the durability. I have not had durability issues yet with the Logitech Combo. However the edge seams and hinge just do not seem as sturdy as the other devices. Time will tell. The material has a slightly slick feel that is inferior in my opinion to the other devices. Finally the material looks like a cheap polyester suit. 3. Apple Pencil The case allows for easy storage of the pencil via the magnet feature of the ipad. A third party case needs a pencil slot. Full stop. The pencil just never stays attached and I would rather have the entire ipad edge protected. There doesnt seem to be a place for a Logitech Pencil/Crayon either. 4. Charger The charger port. It seems small. Apple and Anker cables fit. I am sure that some larger cables will not. For me this is okay. 5. Buttons The power button is a nuisance to use. It is too hard to press. This adds difficulty when taking screen shots especially. I have resorted to double tapping the screen to turn the device on. 6. Handheld Experience The tablet case is a bit heavy and the material is a bit slick. However it is manageable. OVERALL I will continue to use this case. However, Logitech has room to improve.

Worth it
I have had this iPad Pro keyboard for a year now. So I after a year of use I feel as though I can accurately chime in. For the asking price I feel that this keyboard is great. After a year of use, it is holding up great. There’s no peeling of the fabric, no discoloration. However I only use the keyboard for answering emails, some light web browsing and some light video editing on my iPad Pro. It has held up great. As far as the use experience, it is also great. It’s no typist keyboard for sure. If you’re looking for a a mechanical keyboard type experience this isn’t it. This can’t replace a full keyboard or even a laptop, but it does work as a decent substitute when in a pinch. The keyboard attached to the iPad does add a bit of weight to the overall package, but it’s nothing too uncomfortable or heavy. The dedicated key shortcut keys all work. This definitely feels like it could be a first party keyboard. It also definitely provides more protection than the Magic Keyboard from apple. This is a worthy alternative. The trackpad also functions great and supports iPad OS shortcuts.

Woop woop woop! I only wish I had made this upgrade sooner!
Right out of the box, this product was worth the investment. I have a 2.5 year old iPad and Apple’s basic folio keyboard I originally purchased was showing wear and I could not use it in the dark, causing me to forget what I wanted to write and chasing away the inspiration of the night as soon as I turned on the light. I probably wouldn’t have selected the Logitech if a Magic Keyboard option was available, and in fact, I mistakenly bought a Magic Keyboard for the M4 iPad, not realizing “4th generation” and “M4” are different iPads. So long story short, the Magic Keyboard I bought didn’t work, but that was fine, because I realized that I didn’t really like the design anyway; what I really like is the reassuring protection of a “case” like this Logitech has, and I also like everything else about this Logitech product. It’s exactly what I needed, and it’s so much better than the folio I was using that it’s like having an entirely new iPad! I read one review that said the trackpad made it difficult to type, but I haven’t had that problem; there is plenty of room to type without bumping the trackpad, and I actually like the built-in palm rests on either side of the trackpad, I think it makes it easier, not more difficult, to type. The trackpad itself is not “touchy” at all, you have to act deliberately to use it, which is perfect.

Buyer beware
Beware ordering new because you’ll likely receive not new. Not sure if I got a refurbished item or one that someone just opened, tried out and decided to return. If so, no problem but mark the unit as opened and then Amazon should inspect it before shipping out again. I paid full price and received a box that was clearly opened, a used product and packages inside with something missing. I’m not sure what. Overall the case felt sturdy and solid and the size was not too big or too small but the mouse pad did not work on this unit so again full price for a bad product.

Good but not great, frequent issues with clicking/tapping and gestures
UPDATE: I am lowering the score to 3 stars; two for being OK plus one for being basically the only solution on the market. This device makes a strong argument for just spending the unreasonable amount of money Apple wants for their keyboard case. Between the frequent tapping/clicking/gesture errors and frequent issues where the cursor just stops working until I exit the app and come back in, it turns out this solution is only OK, sometimes good, never great. Maybe the real problem is that iPadOS is half baked and ill suited for anything other than touch interaction. I don’t know and I don’t think I plan to find out either. This keyboard case is serviceable, it gets the job done often enough at a low enough cost. But if you were hoping to rely on this thing, look elsewhere because it’s just kludgy enough to be an utter nuisance and hardly worth the effort. Original review below: This gets 3 stars for being a good (but not great) product plus one extra star for having basically no other competition in the same price range. Overall, it works great. I never feel like my iPad is unsafe or unprotected in most scenarios. The keyboard provides a nice typing experience; the keys are responsive, ever so slightly tactile so I know that a key has been pressed. The keys aren’t mushy or too loud and they’re nicely spaced even for my 11-inch iPad Pro M1. The cloth-like material of the keyboard and case is soft and smooth while the texture provides some decent grip. And while it does have a cloth-like feel, it doesn’t seem to absorb a ton of dirt and oil from my hands. Almost a year in and this case/keyboard still look and feel great. My only concern with the case part of the accessory is the rubber gasket that holds the case on to the iPad. I think it feels a little flimsy near the charging port and will most likely be the area that deteriorates the fastest. That said, I don’t expect that one little spot to receive much abuse even under normal circumstances but the rubber material is so thin there that I really do believe it’ll be the first place to fail—eventually. My biggest issue is with the trackpad and gestures. The trackpad itself is great. Clicky and not mushy. Smooth so your fingers glide across its surface. But I have frequent issues with the trackpad failing to register a click or misinterpreting a two-finger scroll with a two-finger click. I have disabled tapping on the touchpad via iPadOS settings so clicks require a full press of the trackpad. That doesn’t seem to make much of a difference. I will still frequently scroll with my fingers and still have a right-click registered by the iPad. Aside from that, I also frequently encounter an issue where the cursor simply disappears while the keyboard continues to work as expected. This requires either a disconnect/reconnect of the keyboard or sometimes just restarting the app or giving the iPad time to re-recognize the trackpad. The accompanying keyboard/accessory configuration app is as bare bones as one could get. It’s got a nice looking graphic and like one setting to toggle and that’s it. Almost makes me wonder why they even bothered with a configuration app at all. I wish the official solution from Apple wasn’t so dang expensive, otherwise I’d have picked that up.

Great Customer Service and After Sales
I have purchased the wrong keyboard case. The team was extremely helpful and helped me replace it with the right case for my iPad Air. Will definitely buy from them again. The Logitech Combo Touch Case is great, and super versatile for when you don't need that keyboard, you can just detach it.

Funciona inmediatamente y no necesitas cargarlo nunca.

Great case and Keyboard
My previous iPad was an Air with an Brydge keyboard case. It was good but the silicon holding tabs break and Brydge could not replace them. The Logitech combo, is a great case. If you have used a Microsoft Surface, this case basically does the same thing. It’s keyboard is detachable and powered by the iPad. The materials are great and and fit very well. I highly recommend it. Side note the touch pad is also very good. I have big hands but typing was no issue. It’s laptop like. I don’t type that much with it but when needed it works.
