For the record, I've done thousands of twisted pair terminations. BLUF: There are better designs out there. This would not be my first choice. The good: These work fairly reliably and consistently test OK including the shielding. The bad: Getting the wires pushed through is a real chore. The design of these did not even consider making it easy to get the wires in. They went minimalist to give them only what was needed to do the job. When you're pushing the wires in, they always get hung up on the metal to plastic transition. They could have made it such that the plastic extends much further back so the wires don't catch. Then, there's getting the wires into their respective holes. These are simply holes at the end. There is no guide rail or anything else to help keep the wires in order and into their respective holes. More often than not, these push the insulation back to expose the copper wire just enough to make a poky barb that will hang up on the plastic. This will make you clip small amounts off the end repeatedly. These seem to be sized for CAT-6A and do not seem to work with CAT-8 due to thicker wire insulation. Boots and copper strips were not included with these- you must purchase those separately.
