First time using this after excruciating constipation that consisted of sharp pains straight to my bum hole. I only took one and I’m not skinny so I don’t think anyone should take more than one unless you’re morbidly obese. Just taking one, I got some cramping but what a relief after. Took one at 6pm and woke up around 3am the next day ready for the toilet.

Two pills didn't do for me so I went with three and it was money, far better than anything I've tried. Also I find that using it in combination with a softener power ups the effectiveness. No cramps or other problems. EDIT: the tiny pills are in a foil package that you have to pop them out of the package and fairly often the tiny little pill goes flying across the room would take star off for that

Product is effective, I ordered because I only had a few tablets left. I deducted one star because the package I received expires in only 6 months. My bad, I should have purchased a box with a longer shelf life at a a local store.

First off, dulcolax does what its suppose to - helps with your bathroom business. So I give it 3 stars to begin with.. I used to take this whenever I needed it for almost a year but stopped entirely. This is because it made my skin (facial skin especially) became EXTREMELY DRY to the point that it was painful. Added bonus was frightening hair loss (yes, hair from my scalp), that the top of my head was showing bald spot and I wasn't well into my 30s yet. Clueless to why these issues occurred, I took other supplements but NOTHING seemed to work, until it hit me - could it be the dulcolax.?? (Since I wasn't doing anything else differently..I have never smoked or drank alcohol in my life, I live a relatively healthy life style) Once I stopped taking this, the symptoms pretty much subsided..now I am paying for the loss, trying to regain my hair (its gotten better, thank GOD) and my skin (was originally combination skin) is much better. So be careful when using this....best to consult with your doctor, even though it is an over the counter med.

I occasionally need to take these as I’m on medication and due to the side effects, sometimes if I don’t take anything eventually, I just won't go for weeks. They do give you stomach cramps, especially if you eat something while it’s working. Also, a warning: Unless you are seriously constipated or it is recommended by a medical professional, do NOT take all 3 pills. You will spend your entire day running to the bathroom. And make sure you drink plenty of water & Gatorade with these because they cause dehydration.
