Is there a tool for installing the washers over the eye posts?

I don't know if there is a tool, but I had to get my husband to push the washers over the eye posts. It required strength to do.

I cannot push the washer over the eye posts. Any suggestions?

It can be diffucult. I use 2 hands sometimes to get more pressure. You could carefully make the holes a bit bigger or stretch them with a neede nose plyers or small scissors. Hope this helps.

how many sets of eyes are there?

I don't really know for sure, but the package gives the number 130. That would indicate probably 65 sets of eye and washer. They require a firm push to get the washer on the eye, so there is no worry about them coming apart. Nice eyes.

I used these on a blanket. Does anyone know if these can go in the dryer on low? Air drying isn't really an option.

I've used these on stuffed animals and have thrown them in the washer and dryer with bedding and haven't had an issue.
