I’m a fan of Golden acrylics and this product is up to Golden’s high standards.

Because this is heavy body, it is not transparent, unless thinned considerably with water or medium. It is essentially the same as titanium white. For transparency, it's better to use the high flow version of zinc white.

Die Farbe hält genau, was sie verspricht: unglaublich ergiebig, supereinfach zu malen, Übergänge gelingen dank der langsamen Trocknung mühelos, alles mit reichlich Pigmenten. Willkommen bei der entspannten Acryl-Malerei ohne "Trocknungsstress". Nur der Preis ist ein echter Downer und aus meiner Sicht nicht gerechtfertigt. Diese Farben vollbringen keine Wunder, die Lichtechtheit von Studio-Farben, mit denen ich seit Jahren male, ist genauso gut. Die Konsistenz aus der Metalltube ist schön und geschmeidig, aber mit ein bisschen Verdicker oder Impasto-Malmittel bekomme ich den gleichen Effekt mit billigen Farben hin. Ist halt nur ein bisschen mehr Arbeit und ich kann nicht so schnell arbeiten, wie mit den Golden-Farben. Dafür hab ich dann aber am Monatsende noch was zu essen.
