I bought this for my 96 year old mom who suffers from macular degeneration, this is working great!!! It's easy to hold & slide and use, the magnification is wonderful. It's really helping her to read better. The on/off button is a little hard to find for her, I wish it was raised or bigger or brighter but I put a raised orange dot on it for her. And you need to click it twice to turn off the light, as long as she remembers. I love this device for her & so does she! She's happy to be able to take it with her to church &/or restaurants to be able to read her bible or menu ! The size is nice to be portable

I purchased this item for an elderly man in our church. Because he requires the magnifier, the tiny switch for the light was horrible. The poor man couldn't find it to turn it on. Also, he couldn't find the usb port hole to connect the cable to recharge it. It's does a great job, just not for someone that cannot see well and is on his own.

Purchased this for my 91 year old mother. She loves it. Can read the paper and do her crossword puzzles again. Highly recommend this great product. Would be even better if it came with a electric plug in for the cord (Mom doesn't have a computer to plug it into to charge) The led lights are a great addition for low light like in resturants.

I bought this to review Aviation Maps... the magnification is just the right amount and the light is a very big help. It comes in a very nice case and is very well made. It is fairly large, so don't expect to carry it in your pocket. But I keep mine on my desk. The unit is easy to charge and I have never had a problem with the battery life.

I purchased a total of 6 domes. Five out of the six after only a month and a half of being purchased partially turn on. Called the 800 customers services number had to leave a message; hopefully, I get a returned call. When they work, they worked awesomely. Battery life is three consecutive hours only before needing to be charged again.

Because it was recommended in the Wall Street Journal, I had high hopes for this magnifying glass. However, it is too awkward to handle and the lens is too small for newspaper reading and book reading. Yes, good for coins and stamps, probably. It isn't easy to hold - no handle - and having it sit on the print itself doesn't help. It needs to be held at an angle, which is why I have had more luck with MagniPros.

I charged the magnifying glass and the light did not work. I recharged it just to be sure, and it did not work. I had to send it back. **UPDATE** I got a second one after the seller contacted me. It works beautifully, so from one star to 5. Not only is there an on off switch on the inside ring, but there is a second on/ off button on the green grip. Once I realized there were 2 places you had to turn on, it has worked perfectly!

Oh my what a wonderful magnifier. On its own it's stunning. What gives it 5 * is that it has such a dramatic, readable enlargement and the rechargeable LED lights are a godsend. Protective case is well thought out too. Discovered it in a WSJ article and came to Amazon to purchase. Glad I did.
