Plug and play!
Simply installed the 9v battery and it worked perfectly. I've been taking my original 20 year old remote apart and cleaning the temperamental contacts for years. This year that didn't work. No muss or fuss with this direct replacement

Works Great : Universal Ceiling Fan Remote Control and Receiver Kit
I recently replaced 4-Ceiling Fans in the house. Two had remotes ,,, the other two were fitted with : The Universal Ceiling Fan Remote Control and Receiver Kit . Very easy to install. The wires are 'labeled' for easy / simple connections. Unit works as advertised. However, The fans were equipped with LED bulbs. LED bulbs 'flicker' ... which indicates that this unit is not capable of using LED bulbs, I screwed in a CFL bulb ... works great. Appliance Bulbs / 40-watt / with thicker filaments work well too. This is not a problem for me ... have several spare bulbs. All fans are Hunter. Works well with this brand, I highly recommend the kit": Universal Ceiling Fan Remote Control and Receiver Kit

perfect and super easy
This was the perfect replacement! directions were super easy (not really needed in my case ) opened the back matched the toggle setting put in a battery and it worked perfect and with a soft touch. thanks eogifee whomever you are !

Great remote replacement it works just like original!
Lost the remote to ceiling fan to house we are selling. No way to look at old dip switch settings I just went through all possible combinations and like magic found the correct ones ! Remote works perfectly now no need to replace a perfectly good fan. Looks like the original remote except for the logo on the front and functions like the original remote controlling upper and lower lights fan speed and reverse although you do need to make sure fan comes to a stop before reversing blade direction. That is not due to the remote but fan itself. I highly recommend this replacement so much easier and cheaper than replacing the fan.

Easy to Setup - Works Great - Excellent Value
This fan remote control met all my expectations. It arrived quickly in perfect condition as described. Opened the battery cover, set the dip switches to match the old control and installed battery. It worked perfectly. The price was very good too.
