Chicken Shoot is literally a light gun-style game made for the Nintendo DS that feels better at home on the Internet as a Flash game. The only redeeming factor about the game is that it has surprisingly colorful and animated graphics that remind me of the likes of oldschool PC point 'n click games. However, graphics do not make gameplay, and Chicken Shoot makes it extremely clear. There's no variety at all. You just shoot and shoot until you lost or are finished with the game. It probably would've made for a somewhat tolerable distraction if not for the fact that the game wants you to press the D-Pad to fire, only leaving the aiming to the stylus or face buttons. It's a bigger annoyance than it sounds. Even if the game did have you just tap the chickens, though, that's all the game is.
