Bead is predrilled. You would have to search for bead with no hole.

Is the lava stone genuine? Can I use essential oils with them?

I found them to be genuine and great for essential oils. That being said, inside the holes were exceptionally rough and tore up stretch gossamer. I would only use them on a heavy duty cord.
