Simple, sleek, convenient
This has been a massive upgrade over the basic kitchen scale I've been using until now. The measurement accuracy provided in combination with a newly acquired V60 has definitely improved my coffee, and the built-in brew timer is a really nice feature; it's one less object to juggle. It's small, sleek, and exactly what I needed to round out the coffee bar and make better coffee. My only issue is that I've had a few people stumble into the region settings during use, and one time we were unable to exit the menu without removing the batteries, but this is very uncommon.

Stopped working after 2 months
UPDATE: Warranty team responded same day and sent a replacement. They said there was a batch that had electrical issues. The replacement is working perfectly so far! Very happy with their service. Original Review: Got this to replace previous Hario V60 that lasted for 10 yrs. I used this under normal conditions, only for pour over coffee. Video shows how the scale has been working after first 2 months: 0:00 - 0:16 secs: the scale always starts with "UNSt" displayed whenever I turn on the scale and never zeros unless something is placed on the scale before turning it on. 0:16 - 0:42 secs: starting with scale off and something placed on top of it - when I turn on, it still starts with "UNSt" displayed - and it takes 25 seconds to "zero" (my old one would only take a couple seconds) 0:42 secs til end: Even after it reaches "zero" the reading starts counting up on its own (without changing anything that is placed on top of the scale). I've been hoping it will just start working - but after a couple more months, it's still the same. Will try to submit a warranty claim . . . hopefully, Hario will respond and make good on their warranty (they make you pay shipping apparently). Otherwise, a few months of use was really not worth the purchase price. Could have gotten a basic kitchen scale for a quarter of the price.

Clean and responsive
The design of this scale is really clean and modern, nicely minimalistic. The 2 buttons are responsive, although there is no feedback from pressing the button. When weighing my coffee it was really fast and the on screen timer was very helpful when brewing. Overall a really nice product!

Consistency
I think the scale is fairly accurate. We use this for making espresso and weigh out the amount of beans in every shot and so far nailed it every time. The scale is only in grams and has a timer for your drip coffee needs. I just wish the buttons are raised so it has a tactile feel.

Awful
I wish I could give it less stars. I can’t believe I’ve just “put up” with this piece of garbage for two years. Finally just stopped working on me this morning but two years of being unstable, inaccurate measurements, and a touch sensitive tare/power button that seems to only work half the time have been slowly chipping away at my sanity. I chalked it up to not being a big deal and moving on with my day, until today. I turned it on with nothing on it and it was giving me the EEEE as if it was maxed out but with nothing on it. Nothing changed from yesterday to today. Changed batteries, same issue. I’ve finally been pushed to purchase a new scale (getting the Fellow because I can count of their products) but first I wanted to help anyone who is looking at this to steer clear. Scales should not be this finicky and frustrating.

Stopped working after 1.5years, good starter otherwise.
I got this scale for about 40 USD, trusted it because it was Hario brand. While the brand itself is great at a lot of coffee products, the scale was annoying and broke after a year. Purchased October 18, 2022, started to have inaccuracies about a year later, then finally stopped weighing, zeroing, and timer doesn't work June 6th, 2024. Useless now, could not repair. So calculate 40 USD/599 days of use... .0678 cents per day to use this scale, but it IS broken now and WAS annoying to use the touch buttons instead of phsyical buttons. I'd say I used this scale at about once per day. The worst things about it are the touch (non-tactile) buttons. I hate touch buttons, but it was only 2, and so I figured, how bad could it be? Turns out real bad for something you use every day. Scale has issues with accuracy at low amounts and high amounts of mass. Even middle amounts you will find taking the same item on/off, zero, then put back on you may get a different value. Absolutely not for science or precise measurements. If you're a true coffee sicko who cares about this level of detail, look elsewhere. For being made by Hario, their own products don't work well with it or are not sized/weighted well.

Basta apenas encostar o dedo.

Works Well
Although this is not the cheapest coffee scale and timer my experience of using it has been excellent, it works perfectly with the V60 system and, no doubt, can also be used for weighing espresso coffee too. If you are looking for a pour over scale this is ideal.

Functionality - Accuracy
Good Product! It works perfectly, reacts to touch modes in a second or so. That's a good feature, so no accidental touches. For me it's better than various smaller, espresso machine fitting, 100% coffee / espresso designated models. With this one I can also use it for non-coffee / small amounts / kitchen uses. E.g., a larger bowl fits and does not obscure reading the display. Works like a charm, of course, for my accurately measuring coffee beans for my pour-overs, especially with the built-in timer !

Great scale
This is a great scale! The best part about this being in plastic, is that if you weigh something that is hot or cold, it does not affect the scale. If you weigh hot water on a scale that is made of metal, the heat will affect the sensor on the scale. And the quality is superb.

satisfecho
Cumple con sus funciones sin ningún problema, se siente el material resistente. Solo que estaria mucho mejor que tuviese la pantalla con retroiluminacion.
