Review: Perfect for small joystick aircraft - As a student pilot in an Evektor Sportstar LSA, I quickly realized the need for a kneeboard. I tried one "small" one but it was still big enough to interfere somewhat with the stick as well as the parking-brake-type flap handle between the seats. I bought this Flyboys one and it's perfect. It wraps snugly around the leg with no protrusions to catch anything. And the Velcro all over makes it completely customizable. In fact, just today I'm ordering a second one for the other leg...I plan to keep frequencies and checklists on my left leg and a notepad and iPhone on the right.

**Q: What size page protectors work best with the eyelet strip?**
A: I made a 2 ring system which I took of an old kneeboard. My is A6. I made the old system with TieRaps on the new kneeboard, that works PERFECT.

**Q: What size paper does this hold?**
A: Flyboys has proprietary document sleeves that fit this kneeboard. For loose leaf paper, I would say 4"x6" is the largest size paper I would use.

**Q: Debating between this one and the regular (non-reversible Flyboys Kneeboard). Does this one add significant bulk ?**
A: No actually it slims down more since you can remove the parts you don’t need

I actually use this while being a Behind The Wheel Driving Instructor. Better for me than clipboards, notebooks, etc.. Was a convenience game changer for my lessons. Side note: after the “what is that” moment, students seem to think I REALLY mean business. Pretty much hanging on every word I say after that! Perhaps “clothes” do make the man?! My only issue with this is that the leg strap seems made for larger legs/clothing. I can fix that with some leftover Velcro I have.
