These are great metal leaf sheets which I have bought many many times. This is my stairs which I did. Very happy and such good value for money. As durable as gold leaf can be I suppose.

Use the right glue and they're great for the money
I liked these so much that I went back a few days later and ordered two more packs. Pros: Decent price point. Easy to use when applying to a properly prepared surface, using the right glue and careful application ("size adhesive" applied and allowed to go tacky). Shouldn't need sealing because there's no actual silver. Also because of that, varnish on high use items is fine and shouldn't discolour the sheets. Always do a patch test because it can affect lustre. I favour spray polyurethanes on artwork and yacht varnish on furniture. Cons: They don't cut straight even with normal metal leaf cutting and apllication methods. Needed a lot of patching, for pretty much everything I do this is not an issue. Most of the time on the item in the photos, minor issue with the sheets tearing really really easily were made worse by me not letting my size dry enough. Use the right glue the right way and they'll work well.

Easy to use as a beginner
I’ve had a vision in my head for a project for 2+ years and today I finally did it. It’s my first time using gold leaf so I was a bit nervous but carried on regardless (any dodgy bits on the picture are user error). I was delighted with how it turned out until my daughter pointed out that it looked like Mr Chips from catchphrase 🤦🏻♀️ that aside I love how it’s turned out and would 100% recommend this product. I reckon you’ve got about 6m2 coverage from the 300 pack.

Be careful of sealant used!
I used this and was delighted with how it looked on skirting boards. Took me a while but got there. However once I added the recommended type of sealant, it darkened and even copper green came through within hours. Was so disappointed, have had to paint over it. Such a shame as looked so good before sealant!
