Great product. You definitely need the base mat if you fill with water and it gives more than a traditional heavy bag, but it is a great workout and a lot of fu.

Bought this for my son so that he could practice his karate skills here at home in between his karate classes. Not only has he been using it but so has his father and I. It’s a great workout for all of us. My sons Sensei is very impressed with his hard work and willingness to want to practice at home especially being only 8 years old. I can definitely see us upgrading in the future and will most likely continue with the Century Brand. For the durability of it and size it is a great starting point. You can either add sand or water to the base. We are using water at this time which seems to work for us. It is nice that you can move the bag part up and down to be able to punch and kick with it. The assembly is so easy and very simple to keep it clean. I usually use soap and water or if we have Clorox wipes I’ll use them.

Ok this is SICK. Bought for ages 7-12 and it's epic. Love the height and how it adjusts. Ease of assembly was beyond!! It was already put together pretty much in the box and my kids literally did the rest. Just add water in the base! Great value for the money. They love punching kicking it and the movement. Very stable.

Came well package and on time. Grandson likes practicing with it.

I filled it with 100 lbs of sand and it works well. I like that the top sits sturdy so I can rest my leg on it for stretching. Its built well and should last a long time.

My two super-duper grandchildren (ages 6 and 9) are absolutely thrilled with this purchase. I had contacted their Dojo to find out which punching bag that they worked out on in class. It was this particular unit. This present arrived before Christmas and was in perfect shape. I told the kids as they tore open the packaging that it was a new recyclable trash can. That elicited some disapointment! But that all changed when they finished unboxing it! Even their parents took a shot at it but I had to stop them before they hurt themselves. At age 75 I was not about to chance it. Something to do "with age comes wisdom".

Meets my expectation. This is the same brand and punching bag my daughter’s dojo is using.

After being told to start boxing by my Dr, I reached out to gyms with no call back, on what to start out with. After relaying to my Dietician (who is a retired boxer), she got me a list of items to get- this being one to start out on. I will recommend using all purpose (dry sand). I don't like the idea of sitting water (germaphobe). Play sand is just to wet & makes nothing but a mess even using a funnel. So, just save yourself the aggravation & grab a few 50lb all purpose sand bags to fill Great stress relief, adjustable to be able to get different workouts in & great starter.
