Works as stated.
I use this a few times a month and for the past few years it has work just as good as the higher end ones. The only problem I have with it is the two little pick tools on the sides kinda dont stay in all the time and since I dont use my at all I just taped them in.

Does what it's supposed to. Good materials. Good price. Minor performance issues.
It works great. Does what it's supposed to do. My only complaint is that the extra punching piece keeps detaching from underneath the tool and also the small blades on the sides also open up when you least expect them to. Otherwise, this product is great, and the price is right.

Solid Punch Down Tool โ Works Great!
I picked up this punch-down impact tool for some home networking projects, and it has worked perfectly so far. The build quality feels solid, and the impact mechanism works smoothly to seat wires properly without requiring excessive force. The tool comes with both 110 and 66 blades, making it versatile for different networking setups. The blades lock in securely and are easy to swap out when needed. Iโve used it on keystone jacks and patch panels, and every punch has been clean and precise with no loose connections. The built-in blade also cuts excess wire cleanly, which is a nice touch. For the price, this is an excellent valueโit performs just as well as more expensive tools Iโve used in the past. If you're setting up or maintaining a home or office network, this is a great tool to have in your kit. Would definitely recommend!

Great tool for home networking
This has been a great tool for cleaning up the wiring in my closet. The blade is much sharper than my previous tool and almost always cuts the extra wire cleanly which means less time trimming things separately. The hook is also good if you need to re-wire a block.

Mine does not fully cut off the ends
This punch will not cut off the ends on Levitron and Commscope jacks. I end up having to use a blade. Low doesnโt bare the wire and high cuts it about 50% Too bad though because Kleins and Flukes are so pricey. Guess you get what you pay for.

Solid, with excellent, but simple tools to accompany
I never had a new punch-down when I was doing public safety comms. I'd have loved to have this back then. (All we had were well-used - a lot looser than a new tool.) This is old-school, rugged, reliable, and quite solid. I picked it up to help with re-working a rats next of POTS lines in a home we just moved into. Combined with a 66 block, it made cleaning up the work of "pros" a dream.

Great tool with instructions available online.
Solid tool which works great and comes with a very handy cable stripper. I watched their YouTube product video showing how to punch down a cable and I was on my way. Saved me having to pay someone to come and do my connections.

It works, but the spring is too strong, even on minimum
[UPDATED] Upgraded to 5 stars! After using it more and now paying attention to assure that the spring tension is low when using on Keystone blocks and making sure to slightly tilt it to its blade-cutting side, it works rather well. However, I have noticed that often, while it punches down ok, it often does not cut the wire off as it's supposed to. This isn't a deal breaker as I carry tiny side cutters, very sharp, to get its point down to where the wires are. For the price, it's good enough. ________________ original review below ________________ This does work, but even with the spring tension set to high It still requires a lot of pressure to get it to snap. On lighter Keystone jacks, like those inside those wall-surface-mount types, the pressure is so strong that it could crack the PCB that the keystone jack is soldered to. With those, I just started using one of those little plastic punches. For bigger jobs, like with BIX blocks, it's probably perfect. Still, good tool, just be careful with spring tension. Also, keep checking the tension knob, because I've found that after some punches, it seems to flip itself back to the stronger setting.

Good quality tool for the price
Good quality tool for the price. Solid and heavy like the name brand tools I have at work. Used it a few times and it's still holding up.

Hammer not working properly
Tool is good in general but the hammer inside doesn't always trigger making hard to punch down cables. Don't know if I just got a bad one.
