Nice nickel looks and solid handles but poorly made. When you go to open the door and stick your fingers into the slot, the metal inside the punch out/pressed insert is extremely sharp. It almost cut my fingers. Returned

Bought a cool cottage. Great view to lake from front door, but one butt-ugly trap door to concrete block basement immediately to right after walking in. Created changing room for guests, putting a grey shag carpet over ugly door, meeting height of floor. My husband had me on the search for a recessed handle, 5 or more inches his fingers could get in, and my "bad" arm could pull heavy door upward. I needed the fingers pull to face me. We couldn't find what we saw the answer in our minds. Thrilled to find this on Amazon with 4 screw install. 2 day shipping arrived on a Saturday during covid19 crisis when others quoting 3 weeks. My husband handled the angle cut into door with drawing. This is a nice 2 pack unit and great set for price. If fits your unique need, worth try!

Used them on my pocket doors. I was afraid they might be too thick to be mounted back to back, but they worked perfectly on my 1 3/8" thick doors.

Was building a bench with storage. Wanted recessed handles so you could sit on the bench. Works as intended. Very happy with the product
