Hostess Twinkies Banana - 10 CT by Hostess

I LOVE these banana Twinkies. I got them for my granddaughter... She ate it and I have never seen a child that small with a smile that big! I then had one. I need to order another box or 3. Not sure how, but the rest in this box disappeared.

The size is just right, Good value for the money.

I wanted to try these after I found out that original Twinkies were banana flavoured until WWII, so I wanted to see what that might have tasted like. I know modern banana flavouring is based on the way bananas used to taste over 100 yrs ago so it couldn't be that far off, right? Anyway: these were excellent!!! They have ruined me for regular vanilla (?) flavoured Twinkies!! The banana flavour wasn't too strong, cloying, or 'super fake' tasting. (I know it's fake but it didn't scream fake, y'know?) Very moist, creamy filling, buttery and a nice fruity sweet, an excellent flavour combo.

When Nostalgia +excitement x weird taste and grease = major disappointment and my childhood memories are destroyed. Worse twinkle I ever had

... arrived completely squished in the mail.

Remember the Banana Flip? A folded taco shaped yellow cake with white cream filling? My older brother always had first dibs on it, so i rarely got it. These Twinkies are IT. The "Banana Twins" by somebody else are sickeningly sweet. These were delish. Too bad brother is now allergic to bananas... they're mine, all mine!

Estaban buenísimos, lo malo es que no indicaba la fecha de caducidad y que eran bastante caros m

Son deliciosos y bien empaquetados pero solo doy 4 estrellas porque me llegaron a 10 días de la fecha de vencimiento.

Food is always a hard one to review because its a subjective and personal choice towards texture and flavourings but if you like twinkies anyway and you like banana flavour then the banana ones are definitely worth a taste.
