Hi - What is the difference between the unified communication and the microsoft certified model as the descriptions seem identical??

I ordered the Microsoft-certified tool as the speaker was intended primarily for Teams conference calls and I wanted to be sure it would work reliably. That's not to say that the unified communication model wouldn't work with Teams, I simply didn't want to take the risk. The only physical difference is that the Micorsoft-certified has a Teams launch Button on the device itself - to be honest, it's not a feature I've actually used as I leave Teams running all the time on the connected laptop.

Does this come with some kind of case in the box?.

Hi - No. The packaging itself could be used to store it - but there’s no extra carry/storage case.

Will this work with a Facebook Portal device?

Hi / I haven’t tried it this way but so long as your portal device has a USB 2 or USB C connector then this simply acts as a speaker/microphone device. Just a decent speaker and decent range for the mic. Hope that helps.
