EcoDeCalk Natural Coffee Descaler Large

I’ve been using my De’Longhi Magnifica XS for two years, and recently the machine started having serious performance issues: slow pouring, noisy sound when pouring. I tried several descalers from other brands that claimed to be compatible with De’Longhi, but nothing improved the situation. Before taking the machine in for repair, I decided to try this descaler one last time — and it completely restored the machine. It began working like new again. From now on, I’ll be using only this descaler. It clearly does what the others couldn’t.

Helps descale our De’Longhi coffee machine. I can taste the difference in our coffee as soon as I clean the machine, so I use this even before the machine alerts that it needs descaling. Just make sure you use gloves and clean up any spills- as I made the mistake of spilling some on my hands and they peeled for a week. There are warnings about ensuring you don’t touch the liquid, but I’d never spilled it on myself in the past.

This is the only Descaler I use for my delonghi la specialista prestigio. It has 5 cleaning cycles so it's a great value. The directions are easy, it works fantastic, doesn't smell, and the bottle is a great size. Now the target words are out of the way this really is a great product if you have an espresso machine and definitely a delonghi. It will definitely help with prolonging the life of your machine with regular descaling and general cleaning. It's highly recommended to do a water test and set your machine accordingly, it's easy to do and will also help the life of your machine.

Does a good job!

I gave it 5 stars because it worked as expected, however I could have purchased it cheaper at a local retailer. No leakage, or smell, and was easy to use.

My Delonghi is just over 10 years old. I've been descaling as directed since it was new and so far, no problems, just delicious espresso and lattes.

Bottle should have been shipped in a box instead of being swaddled in bubble wrap and plastic. It was leaking inside the outer layer of plastic, losing about a quarter of its volume. Worse, my hands got covered in it when I opened the package. This is lactic acid, which the espresso machine instructions warn you about! Other than that, it’s the right stuff for decalcifying my machine; the reason I bought it.
