Very effective product, excellent value for money and easy to use
Amazing product and exellent value for money. I used this on a heavily scuffed/scratched leather coat and I had very low expectations given the extent of the damage and age of the coat, but this has totally covered the damage - you can't tell it ever was damaged! It only took one application (super easy to use) and theres still loads left after covering an entire 4XL trench coat! I couldn't be happier with this and would very highly recommend. Before and after pics don't do it justice (due to light reflecting) but it looks brand new! (I have done some sewing alterations since using the product it, hence it looking slightly different shape in full pic - and it didn't transfer or rub off whilst sewing!)

Good product but instructions not accurate
I used the 'Light Grey' shade to slightly change a 'crazy horse' leather bag from a warm taupe grey to a more cool, steel grey. The picture shows my test piece although my camera doesn't capture the colour very well as the contrast is not as pronounced as this in real life. The top is the results of two thin coats and the bottom the original colour of the bag. However, the instructions could be improved although perhaps the problems were the leather I had. I found that I needed to: 1) work in small sections at a time, about the size of my hand. 2) NOT, as the instructions advise, leave it for 5 minutes and then buff off. I tried this and the product just started drying immediately and looking like paint with obvious swirls on the surface of the leather. I had to scrub it off with warm water and start again and at that stage I was worried I'd ruined my bag. I discovered that as soon as it touches the leather it starts to absorb and dye so INSTEAD 3) Wipe on a very thin layer and start buffing it away immediately, keep moving a microfibre cloth in circles until it is all buffed away - it will leave a thin coat of colour in the leather and no swirl marks 4) Be prepared to do another coat the next day (as the instructions mention). The result is a low sheen and a definite change in colour so overall I'm very pleased with the result of two coats but deducting a star for the stress and gap in the instructions.

Excellent stuff!
Such a good product. Red chair came up looking brilliant. Have used it in the past and buying it again reminds me how good it is.

Poor product container.
This product should not be packed in a flat screw top tin (similar to shoe polish). The product is almost a liquid in consistency and (although there is a small print warning on the tin) its almost impossible to open a full container without spilling it. A plastic bottle would be more suitable, so the product can be decanted into a suitable "dish" for using. The product performs adequately, but the experience is spoiled by the poor packaging.

My bag lives on
After purchasing my first real leather bag, I foolishly ended up over conditioning it. As you may see, with much naivety, I conditioned it to a point the colour was taken off the leather grain on the handles and the main body. My bag was ruined within two weeks and I accepted its fate- until I came across this. This has repaired and refreshed by bag when I thought all hope was gone! In the phase of trying to make up for my horror show, I spent hopeless minutes 'polishing' my leather bag. From even more bees wax to a turtle wax leather conditioner, to aloe vera wipes, I tried anything within reach like a mad man. Eventually, I came to accept the colour had faded and there was no going back for this leather bag. In fact, I soon sidlined this expensive purchase in my room with much regret. Another idea, however, came to mind when I tried black shoe polish and realised something serious for leather could work- this black leather polish that already has gleaming reviews. I'll cut to the chase and say this has entirely restored my black leather bag! Unlike a regular black polish you may use for your shoes, this version is different, arriving in a runny, creamy texture. As such, this proves to much of the product needed to both stain and polish leather surfaces. The more liquid texture, as emphasised in the description, penetrates into real porous leather to re-colour the grain like in the factories. I used paper kitchen towels to easily apply and buff into my bag. It only took a few minutes for the polish to seep into the leather and beautifully restain my bag to a brilliant black. While I watched it dry, so was afraid there were going to be bloches as I noticed some parts dried quicker than others. To much relief, the polish dried evenly without any oil or glossiness. I highly recommend to anyone to apply this in circular rubbing motions as this definitely helped ensure an even application. The colour matches exactly with the original black leather. The polish dried within 5 minutes, a final quick dry cloth wipe down and there remains no residue with the polish fully dried within the leather. I present to you my refreshed leather bag! I am so grateful this worked 😁

Not Accurate Colour - Very Strong Chemical Smell
Bought this to tend to a red leather bag. Chose the colour based on their colour chart, but when it arrived, it was nothing like the displayed colour. Rather than it being red, this came looking brilliant orange. Applied to amazon to get it returned via a collection service as I was unable to get to a store to return it, but was only sent a label that I would have to print and then drop off the item anyway, which was no help. Thanks to the inaccuracy of the listing, and amazon's lack of collecting things from customers, I have now lost out on money for this product. Highly recommend buying something that is actually the correct colour. P.S. I do have this item in black too, so want to address a couple of things to potential buyers based on experience with this... The product has an INCREDIBLY strong chemical smell, such that was lingering in my living room for days even though I barely used any of it. Do use in a well ventilated area and take precautions if you have breathing issues or sensitivity. Use away from your animals and wear gloves so as not to get it on your hands. It is very messy and not in the most practical of containers given its very runny consistency. A little goes a long way, but that is the case in every aspect of it, so be mindful when using/handling it, so as to not make a mess or permeate the air too much.
