Review: Classic novel - Mind-blowing story and writing style by P.K. Balakrishnan who retells the epic Mahabharata from Draupathi's point of view. The book is a journey through Draupathi's psychological states while she explore the truth of kurukshetra war and preceding events from a different angle. The heroes become villains and she gets deep into her mind and finds her deepest secrets. Druapathi is presented as a strong female character through out the story and she is trying to find the answer to the existential question "Did anybody really love her?" The language used here is a bit heavy and not easy to read, hence I suggest this novel to advanced readers. Review: Great - One of the best novels based on Mahabharata that I read. Just like Shivaji Savanat's Mrityunjaya, Ini njanurangatte describes the greatness of Karna.

A true masterclass from a master storyteller!
One of the best malayalam novels to date. Pk Balakrishnan's ini njan urangatte tells the story of karna and draupadi from the latter's viewpoint. Set against the background of the epic Mahabharata. This is the 31st edition of the book and that itself tells a lot about the quality of pk Balakrishnan's work. This is the seed that spawned many mahabharata related novels in Malayalam and other languages. Coming to the copy received, the paper and print quality is good and packing was great. Delivery was on time.
