Absolutely stunned
(It's the knife on the bottom, the top is the CRKT mentioned in the review, another amazing knife) I was incredibly impressed, and as a knife enthusiast myself I have high standards for the knives that I use every day and this one not only met those standards but for its price point It is perhaps the best "Bang for your buck" knife that I've ever owned. The only one that comes close is the CRKT lck ceo flipper but it's almost twice the cost(but an excellent knife). The entire thing feels absolutely lovely to use and to operate. it opens easily and smoothly, not too quickly. It came very sharp out of the Box, I did not need to sharpen it as I have to do with roughly 50% of the knives I buy. It's a good size but it's not too big, still comfortable in your pocket and the handle is incredibly thin, not bulky. my only complaint is with the handle, however, the scales are a little flimsy. it would have been cool to see a 24ga stainless steel backing plate across the whole of the handle, but honestly for this price point I'm not really complaining. I would absolutely buy again. In fact I have already bought another and it's on its way to my brother, it will be there Thursday. I know he'll love it.

Cheap but good. Would recommend
Love the blade, The lock is pretty trash, but it gets stuck in the open position which is better than it being loose or collapsing unexpectedly so I can live with it. It’s a cheap, but solid knife. It’s super light, takes up little space. Over all great design idea, but you get what you pay for. I’d like to get a version of this with I titanium handle with an actual frame lock.

Pretty decent for what you pay for
It's a good budget edc but doesn't come razor sharp out the box. Not really an issue considering the price of this knife but it does come a little dull. Still cuts things but not butter smooth.

Great for me!
I’m not a “knife guy” by any means. I just wanted a nice looking, functional blade for daily tasks that require something sharp. This is perfect. The blade retention is perfect out of the box and if it wasn’t you can tighten or loosen it easy.

Not useful as a knife, maybe a paperweight?
As someone with a very particular set of interests and an eye for the tools of the trade, I found myself utterly disillusioned with the Smith & Wesson 24/7 8.25in Stainless Steel Ultra-Glide Folding Knife. Despite its menacing name and promising features, this blade falls drastically short of the mark for those of us who demand precision and reliability in our... endeavours. First and foremost, let’s discuss this so-called "Ultra-Glide" mechanism. One might assume such a title suggests smooth operation and quick deployment. Alas, the reality is a clunky, stiff opening action more befitting a child's toy than an instrument for the serious connoisseur. For those critical moments when time and subtlety are of the essence, this knife is more likely to hinder than help. Moving on to the blade—3.5 inches of what they claim to be high-quality stainless steel with a tanto edge. The blade's shape and material are theoretically ideal for tasks requiring a strong piercing point and edge retention. However, in practice, the blade dulls quicker than one's patience at a dinner party, requiring frequent sharpening that any enthusiast would find tedious and unwelcome. The overall construction deserves no applause either. With an 8.25-inch frame, one would expect a robust, sturdy feeling in hand, yet it feels surprisingly insubstantial. The handle, an attempt at ergonomic design, is as uncomfortable as sitting through a never-ending monologue. It's slippery when wet—a hazardous flaw that could lead to unintended consequences during detailed work. Finally, let us not overlook the aesthetic disappointment. Smith & Wesson usually bring a certain gravitas and fear-instilling appearance to their products. This knife, however, with its lackluster finish and generic design, will impress no one—certainly not the seasoned collector, nor the unsuspecting guest. In conclusion, the Smith & Wesson 24/7 Ultra-Glide Folding Knife is an underperforming tool unworthy of the brand’s usually respected name. It fails to deliver in both functionality and style, leaving much to be desired for those who rely on their equipment to perform flawlessly under pressure. For anyone who takes their craft seriously, I recommend looking elsewhere to find a blade that won't leave you frustrated or, worse, caught in the act.

Beyond impressed.
Sharp enough to shave with out of the box. Great spring action. Can't beat the prove for the name. It will be a daily pocket defense knife, (to never use but have it Incase).

Bent lock
Blade is sharp, but the handle is cheaply made and flimsy. The lock on mine came bent from the factory, so it's impossible to open with one hand. Instead I have to manually unfold the knife with one hand while unlocking it with the other.
