It's a great product IF you get it at a fair price.
Great product, but I only paid $20 for it in Jan 2026... Make sure you do NOT buy it when it's over $50! That's a crazy price. I have Keepa - the free Amazon price tracker extension - installed on my browser and, as you can see from the chart, The price of the blade + housing kit yoyos way up & down. A Lot.

JUST BUY IT!!! If you’re cutting fabric and/or denim, you need to buy the rotary blade! I bought the bonded fabric blade and it just “scratched” the fabric and left it frayed and I had to cut it with scissors afterward. This rotary blade cut through the fabric easily and accurately! It’s a must-have for cricut tools!

Great Cricut Blade
Cricut Rotary Blade and Drive Housing, arrived with fast delivery and just as described. I haven't used the blade yet, I purchased it specifically to score fabric. However, after I ordered it I found a demonstration video that shows the regular point tip cuts fabric cleaner than the Rotary Blade.
