Very happy with the product and quality, an overnight change in dog behaviour. Used to define some invisible boundaries, our dogs catch kangaroo and turkey scents in the wind, then take off on an adventure getting lost in the Bush, its been hard to break them out of their natural hunting instincts when walking. As soon as we see the dog body language and they are ready to take off, they get a little correction zapp.

We inherited a 7-year-old large poodle when a close friend passed and though he was well trained while on leash he would bolt off leash and be miles away within 30 minutes. We knew this would be a huge problem when we took him to our hunting lease where dangerous hazards are abundant. I used this collar and remote to train him for full time off leash control. I adjusted the shock level per the easy-to-follow included instruction booklet and ensured the collar was adjusted properly. As soon as I let him out of my truck the new environment and different smells overwhelmed him, and he started darting into one direction after another. As soon as he was about to step out of the camp area, I hit the button, and the shock stopped him dead in his tracks. I only had to do this 5 times, and he started realizing his boundaries. Next, I placed the remote on buzz and that was enough reinforcement to keep him under control. After several days we tried switching to beep mode but it was only about 80 percent effective. If he's real excited, the beep just can't get his attention. The effective distance on this collar is fantastic and more than ample to keep him in check. The range of adjustment on the remote is great as well and I believe it will work well with any dog. An extremely important feature of this collar and remote is that they're waterproof. I've seen others that had their systems fail the first time it rained, or their dog got into water. There's no worry of this happening with this collar and remote. The collar that comes with the kit is of good quality, easy to adjust and durable enough to withstand constant running though tall brush. After two weeklong trips to the lease using this collar, we've never had to use it again and can maintain control over him consistently. I'm extremely satisfied with the quality and effectiveness of this remote training collar and absolutely consider it an outstanding value!

My dog has entered the most crucial period for training, she is a year old. She is a large breed dog , and I am a very small woman. I use this for off leash training, here in my own yard, in an area that used to be rural but is rapidly changing. I haven't had to use anything but the beep and vibrate mode, the beep just refocuses her attention to me, while she finds the vibration mode very annoying. Most of my training is done the old fashioned way. Consistency and hands on. The following is an example of when more was needed. My young nephew lives here and bought a small motorcycle, which of course my dog sized puppy loves to chase. We were outside playing fetch ( with the chuck it ball thrower I also highly recommend), when my nephew takes off on his motorcycle much to my surprise. She ran after him, but after 3 short bursts on vibrate, she was immediately back by my side ready to play ball again. Another problem I have had is her excitement when people walk in my house. For which I use the beep to get her attention first, then vibrate if that doesn't do the trick. An e-collar is not a magic pill, it wont do your job for you, but it certainly helps with off leash training, and refocusing my dogs attention back to me, her owner and trainer. The dog I train her to be in the next six months to a year is the dog I will have forever. I believe dogs need to run off some energy every day, especially my dog who is a Goldmaraner, well documented for their need to run everyday. Off leash they also learn to think for themselves , and satisfy their curiosity which makes for a more intelligent dog in the long run, in my opinion, I have had many dogs over the years. The battery life of the collar and the hand held remote has been great so far, still seems to be charged after a whole days use, I put it on the charger anyway, but have had no trouble with that. I also am very happy with the collar this unit comes with, and the device on it, it stays on the collar, no falling off or twisting like my last e collar, which I threw in the trash due to this problem, ( this was with my previous large breed dog) The basic design is quite solid, the collar threads through slots on the back of the device that vibrates, making it impossible to lose. The manufacturer sent me a charging block, when I wrote and told her I didn't have one, and a lanyard that really works great ,so I have my hands free, just for my trouble. I highly suggest you buy a lanyard, I nearly lost the remote before I put the lanyard on it, when it fell out of my pocket. (the way you attach the little loop is through the two holes on the corner of the remote ) Thank you Invirox! Great cost, and a great product! Many years ago, i had a version of this to train my Dobe, and it was awesome. Fast forward to today . It works great, as soon as i put it on her, she KNOWS. its fantastic. I would buy it again if I had to~!
