So I do not often do reviews but these have helped me out in a few ways. First my refrigerator lights went out 2 years ago. Replacing them is not a simple bulb but a whole kit..$200 i believe. I got this and my refrigerator has light again. I have been using for 3 months with no problems. I also put 1 in my daughter's small walk in closet as well as a linen closet where we keep medicines. I'm very impressed. They always detect my movement and turn off after maybe 1 minute. They are not super bright but they get the job done. I may buy some more.

Such lights can be really bad once you get them, but these were exactly what I'd hope. Our use case is for a couple of coat closets by our entry with no lights and little ambient lighting to help. THese provide good light and easy activation. I mounted one in each closet on the ceiling about 4" from the front wall, which provides good lighting for clothes and easy activation when one reaches in. Mounting was easy using 1 screw each into the ceiling sheetrock. What mounts is simply a flat metal plate to which the light adheres with a magnet, so it's easy to remove the lights to replace batteries. Love the fact it uses batteries rather than recharging.

The tape is EXTREMELY sticky! Installed it in a hall closet with slatted bifold doors, the motion sensor is very sensitive and kept turning on so I pulled it off to move it and the paint and sheetrock paper came off with it. Works great for a closet!

The magnet is garbage and they fall off REALLY easily. Since they fall off, they hit things, and now all of them are broken. The battery compartments crap out so they won't stay shut, which renders these lights completely useless since they're BATTERY POWERED and need the batteries to stay inside to function. Never again.

I really needed these lights for the closet. My husband gets up at 3:30 am and needs to get his clothes from closet in the dark and I always worry that he's going to fall or stumble. These lights automatically come on when he's approaching and supply the light that he needs for safety. They were super easy to install with a 3M peel and stick adhesive strip that securely keeps them attached to the top of the door frame. I don't know how we got by without them! I put one at each closet door and that left one to use for under the kitchen sink. Great quality, very nice light that is not that cheap, brassy and inferior LED light I was familiar with.

Love the light this adds to our dark hallways, but they go through batteries so fast.

Wish they'd make a AA version, with 3 AA batteries for extra run time. The 4 AAA's work fine for a closet, but don't really last long enough for an over the sink application. Having said that I'd still buy them again for the closet, but an upgraded AA version would be appreciated, and perhaps with an improved battery compartment closure. I personally have never had any break off, and I have lots of them, but I can see how it could break off, or at least the closure tabs break off leaving no way to keep it closed. It's a bit fiddly as is, but again, I've yet to have any break on me, but I'v seen reviews where they have.... and it's not hard to imagine that they could

Wonderful! The entire light strip rests into a magnetic metal clip, and the clip adheres to any surface. The light pops right out of the metal clip super easy for when you need to change the battery. Just one light lets me see all the stuff in the back of our storage space under the stairs perfecto!
