?Do these bulbs work without wifi

To be able to turn on and off, or change brightness you need the bulb on your home wifi. You can control it from anywhere on wifi or mobile data. If you have no wifi it works like a normal led bulb but no remote control.

Do these bulbs store the schedule locally like the sockets so if power is removed and returned the bulb works as was?

Not an expert, but you can switch the sockets off without disturbing the schedule. However, the socket has to be on for the bulb to receive the scheduled event (via WIFI). I assume the schedule is stored on your smartphone with the app.

Can it go in lamp as well as ceiling light

Yes if it is the correct fitment. check your existing light bulb in the lamp to see the model number for the fitment. I have one of these in my lamp and another in the main hallway light

Recently upgraded wifi and my current Ultrabrite bulbs don’t work as want to be on 2.4ghz Will these work now I’m on 5ghz? Happy with Tapo plugs

As far as I know Tapo bulbs are 2.4Ghz only - they should work as long as your wifi network supports both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz, if it's 5Ghz only then they won't work. I do use them on my 2.4/5Ghz network and they work well.
