This is a great set that I highly recommend. I've had this set for several months now, and here are my thoughts: Mixing Bowls: They stack nicely and save space well. I've used them with a hand-mixer and they've held up exceptionally well, with little to no marks whatsoever. I haven't put them in a dishwasher (because I don't have one), but they hand-wash easily with absolutely no problem. I've mixed bread dough, sticky glazes, cakes, you name it and they've performed with no problem, leave no unusual taste or odor to the mixtures, and I use them most of the time now over my other mixing bowls. As far as weight, they are pretty heavy; definitely lighter than glass, but notably heavier than metal or plastic bowls. The rubber on the bottom is really thick and grips well to the countertop, so using the hand-mixer with them is great and the bowl doesn't move at all. Additionally, the handle sticking out makes it easier to use them with the hand-mixer too I've found; a convenient little feature that I thought would be an annoyance but I actually use all the time. As far as this set goes, I am a family of 2, so this set is a great size for my needs as my meals aren't quite as large most times; larger family's may find the size of the bowls in this set too small (2/3/4 qt) for their cooking needs, and may need multiples of the 4 and 5 qt bowls instead (which are sold in their own set). Just something to consider. That being said, I do frequently make larger meals for leftovers and to freeze, since both of us work; recipes for a family of 4-6, for example. And even still, most of the time I use the 3 and 4 qt bowls and have no need for larger bowls. On occasion though, I do still need a larger bowl; because of this, I will be purchasing the 4/5 qt set for the larger 5 qt bowl, since i do love the way these bowls perform. They really are amazing bowls. The material of the bowls is thick and sturdy, and hasn't warped/misshapen due to hot or cold liquids or mixtures being inside them (including boiling water). Ramekins: I actually didn't think I'd use these very much as I'm not a 'meal prep' kind of cook, but I actually use these little guys all the time. Their sizes make them very versatile for a number of purposes that kind of surprised me. The largest of the bowls works great for mixing melted butter with herbs to spread over hot rolls and breads (note: you don't use it to melt the butter in the microwave as this set isn't microwave safe). The smaller ones I use for holding my mixture of various herbs and spices for tossing into sauces and dishes later, so I don't have to 'spoon and dump' from a dozen different jars while I'm cooking. Turns out these little ramekins turned me into a 'meal prep' cook after all. Who would have guessed. They nest/stack great and take up little to no space. They clean easily; again, I hand-wash since there's no dishwasher. They are very lightweight, but of thick and sturdy material. As mentioned, I've put hot liquids in them (melted butter and other liquids) and they have not warped or been damaged by this. I've had honey and other sticky things, which I've scraped out, and they have held up well with little to no sign of wear or damage by various utensils. Spatulas: They're spatulas. I can't say much about them other than they do their job and are very sturdy and well made. I do like them, quite a lot; but they're really not unremarkable that I can otherwise say. They clean very easily (again, hand-washing), and are heavy in the hand compared to most cheaply made spatulas, which is a feature that I do like about them. They haven't melted or warped from high-heat dishes or liquids. They're very nice spatulas, and I can tell that they will be around for quite some time as opposed to many of my other cheaper spatulas that have long since gone to the kitchen graveyard; may they rest in culinary grace. Final Thoughts: Overall, this set has proven to be remarkably well made and useful, and I'd say it's absolutely worth the money (at the time of writing this). I'm a middle-aged woman with too many burdens and no time; this is a cruel and heartless world, and my kitchenware is not exempt from the unrelenting agony that all of us must endure. I'm certainly hard on kitchenware, because I don't have the time to sit and enjoy it; to caudal it - I need everything in my kitchen to perform at the hectic pace that my own life runs at, sturdy and repetitive. This set has certainly withstood that grueling, grinding pace of cooking and cleaning, rinse and repeat. And I can only commend it for it's efforts and service; and highly recommend it to others.

We just built a new house and I bought this set to use in my new kitchen. This was the very first Rachel Ray purchase I’ve made and I’m glad I did! What a set!!! Heavy duty. I love the stackability and the colors are so bright. Very functional and there’s a size for every need. Glad I took a chance.

This is a lovely set of mixing bowls and measuring cups that would double as small bowls for holding recipe ingredients. I thought they would be light weight like some other plastic bowls I have but there are quite heavy. They feel rather like melamine, but I could not find anything on the paperwork that said what they are made of. The instructions said not to use them in the microwave. The set came with two flexible scraping spatulas too. I think I will be using this set of bowls often.

Beautiful solid set. I love this set. It is very nice. I purchased a backup set just in case I manage to hurt this one. Not that I think it will get hurt, just because I like this one so much.
