There were so many beet supplements available, I was unsure of which one to purchase. Didn't want to invest a whole lot of money on initial purchase. This brand (TOTAL BEETS CHEWS) seemed to meet most of my needs (beetroot, grapeseed, and B vitamins (for my recently diagnosed deficiency) so I invested $14 for a 30 day supply (2 chews per day). Amazon was on the ball, and the beet chews arrived to my home within mere hours. Since there was quite the variety of consumer comments regarding the flavor of the chews, my curiosity got the best of me. Within the hour, I had opened, unwrapped, and sampled my first chew. The VERDICT? Well, not as good as I had hoped it would be. Yes, it was fresh; maintained form, yet nice and soft, however the texture seemed a bit "grainy" to me -AND- it was also NOT as sweet as I had hoped. I like pomegranates, and imagined they might be similar in flavor (pungent and kind of sweet - yet somewhat tart. These did seem close to fitting that description, but for me, unfortunately, NOT in a truly pleasant way. It took me about five bites in order to palate just one chew, with manufacturer suggesting ingestion of 2 chews daily. Thank goodness the chew left no significant aftertaste. No worry that I'll mistake these for a candy or treat. Live and learn, I guess. Let's just hope I see some type of positive physiological benefit in the next month or so. If not, I assume I might likely switch to an alternate brand beet supplement to see if it can offer a better experience. To be reasonably fair, I prospectively rendered this product a 4 STAR rating due to inability to yet assess physiological effects.

My elderly parent wanted me to get these after seeing the commercials on TV. I got her a package and one for myself. I'm a fan of beets and their benefits. I have learned to enjoy the taste so that isn't a concern, but it wouldn't be anyway because these taste more like acai berries. That said, I find that these do give me a little boost in mood and energy. I deal with blood pressure issues so appreciate that benefit too. The price is right for 30 chews, esp. if you find them on sale. Made in the USA ~ Kort

They work. Energy and stamina have improved. They are easy to chew and taste pretty good. Will purchase again because I feel they have been effective for what I purchased them for. :)

I came across beet chewie's in a recent trip to the USA, where I was surprised they were a thing. I Googled the research and while more always needs to be done, there does appear to be some decent early science backing beetroot for heart health. I figured I'd give them a go while I was overseas and started with the Human N brand. When I returned home to Aus the Human N brand was tricky to get, and very expensive for a regular supplement. I went with this brand as an alternative and have been taking them for the last few months. The flavour of these is definitely not as nice as the Human N brand, not terrible but also nothing to get excited about. They do have the same active ingredients and are about a half to a third of the price, so worth a go! I've been trying them in conjunction with regular running to lift my workouts, and for heart health. While I can't say I can definitively link the two, I have been able to run further and my resting hear rate has dropped. I would recommend reading the peer reviewed research on the active ingredient before giving them a go.

I thought this was a healthy supplement until I read the ingredients and did the maths. Cleverly they don't put the entire weight on the package but each 4g chew has 2g sugar. Not recommended!
