To date they have performed more than adequately and able to take daily abuse. The biggest surprise, smaller bars are very handy in numerous vehicle situation's in restricted areas. Looking back should have purchased this set years ago. Certainly recommend and just like Sunnex impact sockets appear well made, life time warranty and good value. Consistently finding Taiwanese products offering great value even used in a professional environment.

When I was shopping for a set of wrenches, this looked like a good option, until I saw the review pictures posted with broken wrenches! I have never broken a wrench. Bent, yes, broken, never. I have broken sockets, I have sheared and twisted adapters and extensions, but never had a wrench break. I wasn't even going to consider a wrench with metal quality so poor that it could break. A few months later, I was again looking for wrenches in this size range, and couldn't find a similar alternative. Either the size range was not what I wanted or there were skipped sizes, which wasn't acceptable, since that's a big reason why I was shopping for a set of wrenches in the first place. I read the reviews more carefully, and it seemed that some people had good experiences with these wrenches, and some did not. It appeared that there was a quality control issue. I decided to buy these wrenches hoping I would get a good set. I think I did. Because of the reviews showing broken wrenches, which would likely be from metal that was too hard and brittle, upon receiving these the first thing I did was to hit them against each other as hard as I could. This unfortunately meant my brand new wrenches were going to have impact blemishes on them, but I wanted to know within the return period if these wrenches were going to break. After several blows and no broken wrenches, I then used a hammer, striking the open ends with enough force that should have shattered poorly tempered metal, but nothing broke. I also used these wrenches on a car suspension, which required heavy effort, and still no broken wrenches. I think I got a good set, and some people received bad sets. I hope the quality control has been improved and is now consistent. For another two sets of wrenches of different brands that I recently purchased, in my reviews I posted the measured wrench sizes for each wrench. One set was so bad I returned it, with some sizes being off by a whole millimeter. The measurements for the other set were acceptable given the cost, but varied from .2 to .75 mm larger than the wrench size. This Sunex set is so consistent that I won't bother taking the space to show all the measurements, which varied from .1 to .36 larger than the wrench size (of course, they must be larger than the wrench size or the wrench will be too tight to fit). The smallest wrench, 8 mm, measures 5.75" long, and the largest, 32 mm, measures 17.25" long. The finish for a budget set is very good, but there area few imperfections if you look for them. One of the open ends has a little indention, but it doesn't affect the size or function. As I have seen with other budget sets, some of the sizing is inconsistent between wrenches. An example in the set I received is that the 31 mm wrench is thicker than the 32 mm wrench, on the open end 14.7 mm compared to 13.1 mm (see picture), and on the box end 19.8 mm compared to 19.7 mm. The open end of the 30 mm at 13.7 mm is also thicker than the 32 mm. Unless you compare, the wrenches look fine, but I doubt the 32 mm wrench is thinner than the 30 and 31 mm wrenches by design. The pouch looks nice, but unless it's standing upright, it is very easy to spill wrenches. Even after spilling a few wrenches, and trying not to, I still spill a few. Lay this down in your truck, and expect a few wrenches to fall out. There are grommets for hanging it on a wall (on 16" centers - a nice touch), which is probably the best position for it to be in. Even though the case looks sturdy, on mine the Velcro strap came off after just a couple of uses. Overall a very nice set of wrenches for the price. The set I received was made in India.
