This is not even remotely comparable to the authentic headscarves I have seen from the Middle East. It is insubstantial. Very disappointed.

I have purchased a number of low cost ( <= $20 US) Shemaghs from a number of different vendors. Of them all the Rothco scarfs are at the top of heap. I had gotten Rothco scarfs in 4 different color combinations and in all of them, compared to the ones from other vendors, the embroidered pattern stitching has the highest thread count. This means that the appearance of the scarf is more striking as the high thread count patterns make for higher contrast with the background. I don't care if they are made in India, as opposed to the true Middle East, they are just better made than the others in this price range.
