Ordered directly from Bunn. A note on the regular vs high altitude versions: It doesn't matter if you're living at regular altitude, this coffee maker will function perfectly fine either way! These coffee makers truly are as easy as it gets. Pour two pots of water into the tank and it's ready to go in 15 minutes! After that you simply pour in the amount of water you want it to brew using the carafe. 6 cups of water = 6 cups of coffee. This unit brews at the correct temperature for perfect coffee extraction every time! It's a steaming cup of properly brewed cup of coffee all the time every time! I usually brew six cups in the morning to go. That only takes about 2-3 minutes. Clean up is simple. Just rinse out the carafe and filter basket every time. Hand wash the carafe and filter basket every 3 days. Since it keeps water at brew temp in the tank all the time it will lose some to evaporation. All you gotta do is add water to the tank every other day or so. It can be a little confusing. If you want the best cup of coffee at home this is the machine for you. It's fast, it's brewed at the correct temp, and it's easy to operate.

This is an excellent coffeemaker. I have owned Bunn coffeemakers like this for about 20 years. This one is my fourth They live a long time and brew in 5 minutes. They are not cheap but I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great machine that does an excellent job.

I've used these home styled BUNN coffee makers for the last 25 years (2 units = 12.5 years each). This new model is slimmer, hot plate is hotter, and it cranks out 10 cups of coffee PDQ. Easy to use and clean. It does not have an auto shutoff switch, but I prefer that because I'll drink coffee until after lunch time ;) The water flow is great so you get a full bodied cup of Joe every time.

Arrived well packed a day early! Our 4th Bunn in last 35 years—enough said! Wouldn’t purchase any other brand. Dependable, quiet, well-priced, sleek setting on our counter. Greets us every morning with brewed coffee in less than 4 minutes! We start every day with our Bunn!

I purchased this in October 2025 and today January 30,2026 it stopped working. I have had Bunn coffee makers for many years but never had it for this short time.

(Start.) By no ways the cheapest coffee maker out there but they sure last a long time and make a great tasting cup of coffee! And they brew fast due to the internal tank - like 2-3mins for a full decanter; its fast. Fast enough I usually receive a comment "that machine is quick!". Everyone agrees that coffee tastes good and its always consistent - I use Nabob so nothing crazy special. You know how you've gone to someone else's and they make their coffee and sometimes it tastes good, other times its meh...? Its not an exaggeration that this machine always makes a consistent cup - all you have to do is give it the right amount of coffee grounds to how you like it to taste. I use the same brand coffee grounds so I know its more consistent roast etc. I like my first cup of coffee the same way everyday and hey if you're reading and considering this machine and reading all the comments, you probably like the idea of a fast coffee maker, that lasts forever (15+ years for me) and I'll take it you probably like your coffee made the same 'way' because that's what makes the day start right. The same way everyday seems nice and its the reason why many buy their first cup of coffee - it's not just about convenience but also about the consistent taste of coffee. An issue with a drip pause feature, and if you'll agree with this, the first cup or two in the pot are the strongest cup of coffee leaving the remaining weak. Of the many coffee makers with a clock / timer set up, how many times did I use that feature consistently - between time change, someone unplugging it to clean the counter beneath, and me wanting a cup of coffee at different times - those timers are a great idea but far from ideal. So Instead I wanted the fastest residential coffee maker and Bunn coffee makers are fast enough. Yes, if you can get past the the up front cost to purchase, the value of this maker is high: Mine lasted 15 years and finally one of the switches finally broke (I make 6 cups of coffee at least 2x a day). You get what you pay for. (Done - 12 cups of coffee ready by the time you read all that)

The only way to make coffee is with a Bunn, and the SBS Speed Brew Select lives up to the brand’s reputation! Follow instructions to fill properly.. Let it heat up..20 min or so. Run a few water runs to make sure the coffee maker cleans out anything. 2nd or 3rd brew tasted as it should. Some makers don't brew hot enough but this one is great! Very happy. Do not overfill, as this took 1 measuring cup less than our old one. We know measure out less beans and less water but makes 3 full real mugs of coffee. The filters that came with and the extra I purchased were horribly packaged and useless being maybe 3/16" taller. Extremely difficult to separate the filters and the shaped edges were already compromised before abusing them more to get a single filter.. Better to save your money on filters and buy good taller basket ones in the supermarket. The old ones it came with could be shipped to some gold miner to filter gold or something..lol

Given the mechanics of how the Bunn Home Brew Coffee Makers work, it is simply the best. No bells, whistles, timers or gizmos. Once the hot water tank has heated up, a great tasting pot of coffee is just minutes away. I read one complaint whereby the user was frustrated that he could not interrupt the brew to pour a coffee. It takes four minutes to brew a pot! Couldn't wait two extra minutes to get a better cup of coffee? Bubble & burb coffee makers take too long whereby the Bunn incorporates temperature and turbulence. The heated water flows out of the spray head rapidly enough to fill the filter basket saturating all of the grounds all at once creating turbulence in the process. When the water stops and the coffee brews, you are left with a perfect pot of coffee in minutes. One could argue that there is no preset timer but Bunn has a machine with a timer. The same but different. Some complain that there is too much plastic but it all works and the hot water tank is stainless steel. I've had several Bunns over the years and regardless of what's on the market or comes to the market, the Bunn Home Brews still perform at the highest level. You can leave it on to be ready for the next pot or turn it off to save some hydro and then just turn it back on in the morning to heat up the tank again. Takes only minutes. The whole system is simple, fool proof and convenient. Highly recommended The Bunn SBS or any other of their configurations .

I have never owned a coffee machine that brewed as quickly as this one! Great tasting coffee as well. Only complaint, it is very difficult to measure water into top of machine. The numbers are not well seen as they are same color as interior and measuring is not accurate. Only down size to this machine but not a huge complaint. Highly recommend.
