Really happy with this chair, just had to slot the back into the chair base and screw the legs on, very simple, fast construction. The chair itself is ideal, so inexpensive but doesn’t look it. It’s neat, easy to get in and out of, good height, comfy seat. (I’m not a lightweight so can confirm it’s ok for larger bodies too). The only thing I’m unsure about is the legs which are plastic and I’m not sure how durable they will be. Time will tell however they would. Be very easy and inexpensive to replace with screw in wooden ones if necessary. EDIT: Xmas day I’ve sat in this chair for almost 5 hours and I’ve been completely comfy the whole time, also stood up easily and fairly pain free which is an absolute miracle for me. It’s just a simple, plain chair but it’s designed very well to give a great sit.

No assembly really...just slotting back on and screwing on legs! Husband post knee replacement...what i had wasn't working 😕 good price and for us a game changer. Quality great. Looks fine in our lounge.

Smart looking chair, simply screw on the legs and drop the back onto the retaining posts and that’s it. Could have used a little more material to cover calf pad mechanism, hence the 4 stars. Pretty good chair for the price though.

Personally, I wouldn't like it to sit on all day long but my disabled husband loves it. It's early days of course but I prefer a softer chair. It's better for hubby to get out of because of his weak legs and of course the recliner. He didn't want a disability chair and it dies look good. Only other thing is that we also had a new sofa, we didn't want matching chairs. That is made to look buttoned. The fabric is pinched in but it isn't buttoned. Very trendy!! But the chair looks slightly old fashioned because of the buttons. Still, it's what we needed for hubby and it seems to fit our needs. Lovely colour and fabric. Pretty good value all in all. Ask me next year!! Haha! Next year....... Ugh! It's OK but no one likes it. The extension is merely a foot support. If you want to sleep on it, you just lean back and it all extends but your feet hang off the end and I'm only 5'3"! Hubby doesn't use it so it's wasting space. Heavy too if you need to move it and again, my height means my arms are resting on the arms higher up so very uncomfortable. Dog loves it though! But where she's cleaned her feet, doesn't clean the so the fabric isn't good and the super, thick seat cushion is getting misshapen. Since it's attached I can't change it, puff it up etc. Yes it was a cheap chair but we can't afford to keep replacing them. Nor do we have the income to get a superior quality chair. Bit of a rip off really! grrrrrrrr!! Haha!

This chair won't last long with everyday use. But if its for cosmetic purposes and used now and again, its a great price and chair. Easy to assemble. I'm happy with leg rest. Good back rest size, pillow behind neck, very comfy. Delivered by DPD and driver ( Northwest) was pleasant, carried box into hallway. Updated regularly, time slot given. Overall it will do for now

After total refurbishment I needed new furniture. Before I had really big,heavy leather sofa, armchairs etc. This time I went for a more minimalist approach. This particular armchair is exactly what I wanted. It is easy to handle (ie for hoovering underneath); its rather innocuous grey colour is guaranteed to gel with almost any colour scheme, and most importantly it is really comfortable to sit in. The very thick cushion is both soft to sit on as well as being sufficiently firm and supportive. The fabric - I have no idea what it is - looks really durable, and I expect it to keep its looks for many years. I understand it has some sort of foot rest that kicks out. I have no interest in this particular facility, so I cannot comment. It came as a flatpack, and I remember it was incredibly quick and easy to put it together. It has a slightly squashed look which I at first found strange ( I hope it can't hear and has feelings). I am now loving my new armchair. I would recommend it to those with a minimalist approach, and the price level is excellent.

I actually ended up buying two these, more fool me! It was comfy when I first had, hence the second purchase, but a mere 8 months later, the support under the cushion has collapsed, the cushion itself is bulging and the buttons at the back have come loose. I contacted the seller who ignored me. I live chatted with Amazon who in turn asked the seller to issue me with a return/refund. The seller closed down the request with no comment. Amazon say I must get in touch with the manufacturers. That's not how the law works, but who is the manufacturer? I'm told the details are in the listing and that they can't look for them because the order is too old. As though it isn't still listed for sale. When I tried to understand what they were saying by asking more questions Amazon said if I didn't want to ask about anything else they would end the chat. And did. I was a bit stunned as I hadn't been the slightest bit rude or impatient even, I was just trying to find out what I could do next. I have now had an email from Amazon stressing that I must report any faults within 30 days. How can I when they didn't appear in that period. Surely there must be a warranty of some description? I've seen others who have had similar complaints about the chair but have just written it off. I can't afford to do that, and why should I?
