The metal base is well marked making it easy to line up whatever you’re cutting and the accuracy is incredible. If you’re cutting a photo in half or shaving a very small edge, it functions just as it should. The Dahle quality is obvious as soon as you open the box and it feels durable enough to last a lifetime.
